A powerful look at relationships

The author points out something that I’ve thought about myself and that is why people who are masculine suppressed. I’ve seen little boys being punished for being masculine. Why? Yet, a little girl does the same thing she is praised. Why? Then I’ve seen where both sides are punished because it leads to inequality. We’ve lost our way here and people hate it privately, but embrace it publically. People enter into relationships and neither one of them knows their roles. I’m not saying that women are to stay at home and the man goes out. I’ve seen relationships fall apart around me all the time. All of my siblings have been married divorced at least twice and I looked at their relationships to learn why. We were raised in a family with one side being dominant (female) and no one learned to balance this out with the people in their lives. I’ve never been married, but when I look at my past relationships I see this. Now reading this book I can see the basic lessons that will help not only those in my family for relationships. I’ve also passed it on to a friend and sent it out to the family to read. If you’re relationship if failing try starting here for an answer.

I recommend this book to women of all ages ..we can all find ourselves in the words of her book and maybe have an clearer understanding of oneself...a brillant author who has many books out there to experience..like a Woman's Worth...looking forward to reading her newest book..

the soul grows with this book!

it is my favorite book from Marianne. Probably because gets so deep inside the soul that empowers it to fulfillment and to have hope for that enchanted love she describes so amazingly. Another treasure from her.

A Few Helpful Ideas

Would have appreciated more practical spiritual guidance. I found the number of prayers to be excessive relative to what I was seeking. Williamson's voice is very soothing.
Memorable Messages...Men are hunters so stay interesting....There is only 1 Love!

Painful narration, goofy content

when the author talks about no longer needing airplanes or the internet to communicate across space and time, if we just love each other enough oh, you know she's a complete loon. there were a few useful and insightful comments in this book but for the most part it's just silly.
