Dear Ramit Gupta, I found this book instantly useful. I noticed what you have described in book in many people around me in family and in workplace. It was instantly useful to me to listen to this book.(Particularities second part)

A good narrator of an interesting topic, though it did leave me a little worried when at times I saw myself reflected in some of the descriptions! Well worth a listen to get a better understanding of the nature those around you, and of yourself.

sociopaths and narcissists oh my

The word “sociopath” may bring to mind a scary movie villain, but the truth is you encounter more sociopaths in everyday life than you probably could even imagine.

This short guide explains how to identify a person with this anti-social personality disorder and how to distinguish between a sociopath and a narcissist.

It includes strategies on how to deal with these resource-sucking vampires whether in the workplace or in everyday relationships and how to protect yourself.

I wouldn’t necessarily consider it an “ultimate survival guide,” but it is definitely a good start, and the strategies described are extremely useful.

Narcissism Exposed by Ramit Gupta

This short guide will help you determine whether you are dealing with a true narcissist (someone with Narcissistic Personality Disorder) or someone who simply displays narcissistic tendencies.

I did not feel that the guide really gave a lot of useful information on how to deal with narcissists, in the short or long term.

I received this book through Audiobook Boom in exchange for an honest review.

More confused than enlightened

There are good things about this. It's short. It's interesting. However I don't feel I got a rounded look at the different disorders much less a detailed one. I wasn't really expecting to knowing the brevity but I was hopeful. I didn't get the helpfulness of this book and felt a bit dirty after listening to it. I guess it fired up my judgemental portion of my brain and it doesn't need any fuel!
The narration was okay. He did what he could

It is a cliff notes basically and offers no real support or techniques to battle the munipulations other then to tell you to just leave. Not worth the money.
