I really enjoyed this book. The storyline was great and the characters were captivating. I am hoping there will be a second.

Best book everrrrrr

How does a homeless kid grow up to become a charming pirate? How does a young girl who has everything except her parents attention grow up to become a generous woman who knows how to love? This is a story wonderfully told of two people who found love against all odds. Lots of love and action with lots of betrayal and revenge.

My only disappointment is that L.A. intrigues us with Book #1 implying that this is the first in a series of books....but there aren't more books. We patiently wait for Book #2 and it just doesn't come. We do get other books though. I am hoping that one day soon we will see more stories of these pirates. It would be nice if Snake and the twins got a book.

Anyway I luved this book so much I listened to it twice. I am very much looking forward to other books in this series.

Don't pass this up, Grab it and hold ON!

I absolutely loved this book as I have everyone of LA Fiore's books. I am an Audible listener and have been for years, and I own every audible book but one and am adding it next! Listening to each book I find, I'm dreading it coming to an end. Elusive was a breath taking love story with mystery, drama and betrayal but will captivate you from start to end. If I could give it more than 5 stars ✨ I totally would.
Narration was off the charts!

Wonderful saga

both entertaining and beautiful. easy but thoughtful. a wonderful adult saga that warms in autumn weather

Good & Bad

I really enjoyed this book, but it was a little long winded. They could have shortened up both the main characters pasts in order to still get the storyline out there for people to read/listen. I wish there were more books on the other characters.

Don't miss out and read this one. It had everything to make an awesome story.

Straight to the top of my list!

I cannot believe that I waited to listen to this book. It has everything that I love...suspense, intrigue, romance..PIRATES!!! How could I go wrong? LA Fiore has woven an incredible love story into one of my favorite kinds of books. History is one of my passions, and the art of treasure hunting is always something that interested me. Willow's quest for the treasure is the perfect way to live vicariously on that kind of journey. With the adding of modern day pirates and the mystique of Kace/Noah, this is a book I could not stop listening to. The passion for answers and love, the heartbreak of family expectations, the loss of friends, the horror of murder, there are just so many facets all woven into one tale of adventure! It is a ride so worth taking!

And what better narrating team than Aaron Shedlock and Tracy Marks to take us on this adventure. These two bring such life to their stories, it is easy to get sucked in and not surface until the you here "The End". The emotion, passion and nuances that are inflected in their performances are so true to life, you feel like you are part of the scenes experiencing the story as it unfolds. I cannot wait until LA Fiore brings us book 2!

Love L A Fiore books. Tracy and Aaron do a fantastic job. Wish there was another story about Snake.

steamy with some minor kinks

The beginning was REALLY slow. it finally picked up. The story was a good one but I wasn't a fan of the reader. The way she did the Male voice was very annoying. It almost made the complex character seem slow and simple. It was very steamy!
