An Enthralling, Emotional & Absolutely Amazing🎧📚🎧 

Freya Barker pens another amazing novel set in her “Arrow’s Edge MC” series, one of my favorite series and places to visit. Barker created something very special when she created this world and the Arrow’s Edge MC, which is not your usual MC club, it is so much more. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to, connect with and care about. This fifth book Paco and Mel’s story and it was great to get to know these two better and watch them finally get together. Mel is an attorney and friend of the MC and has helped them with their some of their cases and causes. The chemistry and attraction between these two is undeniable, but the timing was never right until now,circumstances bring them closer together. The depth and layers of the story are amazing and I loved how it all played out and the pieces come together. The mystery of who the bad guys are keeps you guessing and the suspense takes you to the edge of your seat, the romance storyline has you swooning and the way they handled Mason was heartwarming. It was also great to see characters from the earlier books make appearances too. There is never a full moment in this wonderfully plotted book and I highly recommend this book and the entire series. Freya Barker, thank you for another exceptional story and emotional rollercoaster ride. I hope there will be more stories coming out of this wonderful world you created, starting with Lindsey and Wapi.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fantastic narration, Maria McCann-Glover and Adam Barr did an amazing job bringing these characters to life and did so with a complete understanding of who they are portraying, giving each their distinct own and making it easy to follow along and tell who is who. McCann-Glover’s take on Mel was perfection, and the same for her daughter’s character, grasping all sides of their personalities, as well as their strength and fierceness. Barr nailed it as Paco playing the swoon worthy, caring, alpha biker as he is. Both were fantastic performing the roles of the secondary characters too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance, having you feel every single one. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the amazing listen.

Brillant Book

This book was wonderfully written. It is gripping, suspenseful, tragic, steamy, and has a beautiful HEA. I loved Mel and Paco's relationship. Ms. Barker always has strong, independent heroines. The most amazing joy with this author's book are the characters find love and happiness in their 40's. The narrators were well suited to the characters and they did a fabulous job!

Finding Love Later in Life!

Paco and Mel might find a HEA later in life but their love story is one I couldn’t stop listening to. The narration was great and I was engaged from the beginning. I have to say I am in love with this series and the fact that the MC is reformed makes them even more loveable. Mel and Paco form a new bond when they take on the responsibility of protecting a young boy. The side characters have a way of touching you and you have to know what happens with them! I can’t wait to dive into the rest of this series.

Love Paco and Mel

This book is a stand alone but if you have been reading the others in this series and highway 550 of the rock pointe drive series you have already met Paco. I have been wanting his story since then. Paco didn’t always have the best taste in women but now that he is older and has met Mel he is determined to do things right with her. Mel is independent and has been as she raised her daughter on her own and has taken care of herself as well. She wasn’t sure about Paco especially with something that he said to her. When one of her clients ends up brining trouble to her door, Paco is determined to keep her safe. At the same time a young boy, Mason, is brought to the club and he needs protecting as well. Slowly Paco is starting to form a family. I loved the writing and the characters. The chemistry with Mel and Paco was great and the suspense of who was after her was well done. I also loved Mel’s daughter Lindsey and her fiesty personality and interactions with Wapi. Looking forward to more.

Beautiful, gripping and compelling perfection! I loved it!

Fresh, unique, emotional and empowering, Freya Barker strikes the perfect balance with her fantastic series, Arrow’s Edge MC, and Book 5 “Edge of Reality” is no exception! My interest was held, as was my breath, when this gripping plot with multiple surprising twists, fabulously defined and developed characters beautifully human in their imperfections, and clear heartfelt, emotional narration, combined to make “Edge of Reality” a first rate, nail biting suspenseful, rollercoaster ride of emotional goodness! The dialogue, THIS dialogue was perfection! I laughed, “oohed” and mentally “high five’d” at the so well deserved, and so well done, snark, sass, and snap, in this wonderfully written dialogue that SO perfectly fit these characters personalities! It was amazing, and truly rounded out the story deliciously! The characters were truly special as well. I identified with some, sympathized with a few, and wanted to run over a couple! I’ll keep hush on the details, I don’t want to play spoiler, but as you listen, I’m sure you’ll easily identify who I’d put where! The storyline itself was deeply emotional and moving. I was brought to both laughter and tears, and I spent considerable time on edge, wondering and worrying about the fate of the beautiful characters who I’d come to know and care about in this beautifully written story. I know you’re tired of seeing this, but no spoilers, you’ll have to listen to get the goods! But, trust me, it will ABSOLUTELY be well worth it! After all, this IS Freya Barker! Five fabulous stars!

Terrific story grabbing my attention

Paco and Mel's story is terrific, grabbing my attention from the start with mysteries to solve, intrigue, twist and turns, danger, action, and suspense. Add in a cute little boy and a rescued dog to steal your heart and what more could you ask for? I loved that this story was about older loners finding their forever love and a new chance at a remarkable future. Maria McCann and Adam Barr's narration brought the story to life.

Soooo good!

Oh, Paco, to have that man interested is a gift! It takes Mel a bit of time to realize that and their timing has never been right, but when it all comes together, it's life changing. Freya Barker gives the Arrow's Edge MC series another fantastic romantic suspense installment and I once again am completely captivated. The fact that these characters are mature, edgy and push all the right buttons for me just makes it sweeter. Paco never gives up on his attraction, and now when Mason, a 6 year old has been taken into the club's custody, staying with Mel and Paco, his view on his future is a little different. But danger is lurking, and it's up to him and the club to keep Mel and Mason safe. Will it all work out? I was on the edge of my seat! Mason is so sweet, and after what he has been through, he needs his happy ending. Give this story a try along with the first 4 in this series. It's an adventure not to be missed.

Maria McCann-Glover and Adam Barr tell this story with high emotions and deep love. These two fell into their characters and found the exact voices to fit them. From slight accents to little boys, woman in love to dangerous man, they kept my interest and had my full attention. Loved this pairing!

Good Story, Good Narration, Just Good. Loved the book and the Arrow's Edge series! I really liked the story of Paco and Mel.

I love this series, but audiobooks have so many production errors!

This book is great! 5 stars for this book, this series & this author. It’s a shame there are so many errors in this audio production. Switches back and forth between chapters,, even leaves out a section.
