He thinks that he has to find more of his people and marry one in order to perpetuate his species. She loved him at first sight and is unwilling to step aside for any one. She forces him to take her on an expedition which sets the drama rolling. This book introduces a new villain. We meet his slaves but he is resurrected only at the end.

I am loving this series! The only thing that is driving me nuts is the author’s massive overuse of “shot/gave/giving her a ——- look.” I need her to switch from “she gave him a wry look” to something like “she looked at him wryly.” Adverbs are good!
