enemies to lovers sweet and wholesome

Beautiful done enemies to lovers story line. it's obvious who the love interests are going to be but the path of the romance had me pacing back and forth, cringing, and squealing! I am also excited for the setup of all of the Brothers to have a book in the series and see how their 🧬 ve stories play out.

I have been reading this series out of order because the first time I saw it on Book Siren was during Gilbert’s book. I loved it so much that I ended up following the author and was able to read about Fletcher and Phineas. I had mentioned on one of my reviews for these books that I hoped they made the stories into Audiobook form because they were so good.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the first two books were already that way, and I spent two of my credits on them. It was so worth it. They are the only two that I haven’t read yet. I knew I had already liked Baxter from Fletcher’s book, and couldn’t wait to read his story! The best part is, I was able to listen to it? It was fantastic. The story, the angst, the narration, and happily ever after.

If you are able, I would definitely recommend you listening to this one, but if not, please read the book. I believe you will love it especially if you’re a fan of the Regency Era.

A fun listen

Overall a very cute and fun listen. the banter between Lord Grafton and Briar was silly and enjoyable.

Just okay...

Not enough time between mfc and mmc to really workout any angst and allow feelings to grow. It all felt very forced and just odd. They spend more time disliking each other more than anything and zero chemistry. As for the audio...great voice for British accent but when it came to American accent it ended up sounding very robotic/no emotion.
