Nerdy Cuteness!

I loved this story it’s so fun and cute! I loved all the nerdy references and musical quotes! It’s a nerdy love story and I’m here for it!

So cute! I laughed, I cried, I loved the characters sooooo much! They were well developed and as a DnD player and theatre enthusiast I was overjoyed at the connections made!

I enjoyed the level of effort the voice actor put in. it was very cute and enjoyable. everything you want out of a ya romance novel.

Such a cute story and fun get away!

I loved this book. It was such a joy to read such an innocent and fun story. The characters were so fun and the plot was overall very simple but I truly had a lovely time reading it. Finished it in two days! Definitely interested in reading more from this author. If you want a fun, light read…that reminds you of simpler times, then purchase this and enjoy the ride.

Cute teen romance!

I have read a lot of clean romance in my time and this is easily one of my favorites. It's a story that has been told a million times (pretending to be in love and then falling in love) but I still likes this take on it. The characters are really fun. I enjoyed that it was a bit of a coming of age book along with the romance.

Loved the gaming aspects

It was a fun quick read that had adorable situations and characters. The fake dating trope was center stage and the love interest was equal parts bad boy and geek. I enjoyed the story. it was light and playful. The audio performance was well done. also the protagonist's realizations about what really matter in life felt accurate rather than trite.

Narrator did a fantastic job

This was a great read and the narrator did a fantastic job. Normally I only like duel narrated audiobooks but this was very good

If you want a wholesome and sweet nerdy love story this is for you! This will make you wanna curl up with your favourite tavern mug full of tea. I hope there is a second one! The story was compelling and the friendships were captivating and beautiful! This was a Nat 20!

LOVED THIS STORY SO MUCH!

The story overall was super cute, had me on the edge of my seat and I couldn't put it down until I finished! Such a good read and I also loved all the nerdy-ness that went on throughout the story from the D&D campaign, the board games, and then all the theater talk. My lil geeky heart was so happy <3

It has realistic execution of fake lover trope!
Love the interaction between Riley and Nathan!
Altough I did not swoon for Nathan.
I like Lucas more. Sadly, he is not ML.
But I still enjoy it so much!
