Series. Just keeps getting better

This series keeps getting better. I read the book before listening to the audible. The storyline is so good with so many twists and turns. And the narration just makes it better. The voices are pretty much spot on. Looking forward to the next book. Be sure to listen thru the closing credits as well!

I cannot wait for the next book!!! Really enjoy these characters and the adventure this writer has them on!

Slow. Repetitive. Predictable.

Overall, the story is alright. A nice twist on the King Arthur legend. But, I think the author has gotten a bit too dramatic and predictable with the story. Far too many times the story has gotten dragged down with repeating what's happened in the past and providing way too many unnecessary details and character thoughts.
Secondly, it's become so absolutely predictable when Thomas and/or Excalibur will be getting into a fight. Except for the reintroduction chapters the author insists on startinging each book with (it's a series. It's not necessary to give a complete overview of the entire series at the start of every book.), entry time the story switches to Thomas he has to fight someone or something.
