Good Epic Fantasy

This was another good addition to this series. Very creative and imaginative with interesting characters. The narration adds life to the story that increases the enjoyment many fold. Very enjoyable listen.

Magic, chaos, dragons and battle

Listening to this action-packed story grabbed and held my attention. I loved the awesome characters, detailed description, and intriguing story line. The Abbot and Zaxx have been plotting their revenge, and gained an army. How’ll Neill, Char, Paxala and the rest of them all, survive against them? I wouldn’t count Neill, Char and Paxala out though. They can come up with some pretty good and creative ideas, that may just work! This action-packed audio is filled with danger, dragons, Abbot, Zaxx, Monastery, soldiers, flying, Prince, traitors, determination, missions, chaos, swords, loyalty, family, friends, shadow warriors, training, battle, and war.

Action, suspense, and so much more. The last battle will keep you on the edge of your seat. Grab this series you will not be disappointed.

best Trilogy ever I loved those books so much every book was interesting it wasn't too much too long it was even shorter than I wanted I loved this Series so much

Dragon Mage (The First Dragon Rider Book 3)

“Dragon Mage” is the last book in The First Dragon Rider trilogy. Neill (the first dragon rider) has been one of my favorite characters and I enjoyed him in this book. The tension increases as the final battle looms closer. The Monastery changes and we begin to see the beginnings of the Dragon Academy that is featured more in Ava’s Return of the Darkening trilogy.
Ava Richardson writes amazing stories. Not since Anne McCaffrey, have I found such an interesting and exciting author. She writes intelligent, fascinating plots, characters and excitement in the stories. I’m really looking forward to her next book.

great ending

Another great addition to the saga and it gets even more intense where it culminates in the battle between the good and evil. I am happy the good wins in the end, but at what cost. Listening to Neill battling with all the insecurities broke my heart, those around him never saw it and sometimes made it worse. It ended well for him though, realizing that Char is the one meant for him. Loved the dragons, their interaction with the riders and how they are integral to the whole story.
I recommend this book, the series to listeners of all ages.

I enjoy listening to Ms. Williams' voice and her story-telling style making for an enjoyable listening experience.

Interesting.

now the book itself was exceptional. It was a nice change of pace but the only thing that I cannot bring myself to like is the dragon sounds. the chirups or growls. skreeeeeeee.....no. just no. but all others was quite brilliant.
