Dragon Wars!
The dragons had been created by ancient sorcerers deep beneath Firestorm Mountain. The most powerful of these deadly creatures was Gilmreth. After the Worldfire, the dragons escaped from the mountain to prey upon the few living creatures left upon the Earth. Over the centuries, living sources of food became harder to find and the dragons took to preying upon each other.
In a small secluded valley, a few humans still struggle to survive. Just when their lives are finally turning for the better, the surviving dragons find them. As the dragons begin to hunt, the remaining humans fear that this is the end. But there is another surprise hiding in their valley. This hidden secret could be the difference between the humans dying and their ultimate survival.
Snowden the White Dragon
The Worldfire destroyed the great civilizations of the world nearly wiping out mankind. In a sheltered valley, a group of humans and sorcerers struggle to survive and rebuild.
Sorcery ravages the valley as two families come into open conflict. The Sorensons want nothing less than to have complete control over the remaining humans. A young sorceress from the Andrew's family stands in their way wanting the humans to remain free. Ashley has a secret that no one else in the valley is aware of.
Beneath Beaver Mountain a dragon has been sleeping. The conflict between the two families has awakened the dragon. In ages past, the dragons had nearly destroyed what was left of mankind. Would Snowden be mankind's salvation or its doom? Everything would depend on Ashley and her secret friendship with the dragon.

If you like dragon stories, this is worth a listen
The beginning was slow but as you get into the second book I could not stop listening. A well written story and very well narrated.
