Acerca de esta escucha

It's been two weeks since Haley Jones turned 18 and her life was turned upside down.

While searching for her dad, Haley is adjusting to life in Santa Cruz with a new job and friends. Surrounded by six dangerously appealing guys, she's still trying to figure out just who Liam, Knox, Ethan, Chase, Theo, and Jackson are and what they do.

From a 21st birthday party to a swanky costume gala, Haley discovers just how difficult it can be to fit in and that maybe it's okay to stand out.

Contains mature themes.

Wonderful sequel to Phoenix, well done Autumn and Julia!! I am really enjoying this story and can't stop listening. I usually make myself only listen when doing chores or driving but I am so addicted to Haley and the guys, I can't help but make time to just sit and listen haha. Definitely will be downloading all of these on audio ❤️

Emily does an amazing job yet again with emoting and separating all the different characters. I am still really happy about her portrayal of Liam (and also Theo, but Liam more especially because of the accent). I really get sucked in and don't realize how long I have been listening until I look up at the clock or notice I am almost home haha. Great job, can't wait to listen more.

In terms of the story, we get to see some of the walls come down with some of the guys, some tension lingering between Haley and especially Jackson, and we get a couple glimpses into their lives before Zenith. I think the storyline and am excited to see what happens in Book 3 and if we get some of the answers that we are dying for. Definitely pick up this series, you will fall in love with them and be super jealous of Haley in no time 😊

Great follow-up to Phoenix!

I love how Haley and the Boy’s relationships are progressing along with the mystery and intrigue in this book. It’s extremely well written and an enjoyable book to listen too. Can’t wait for all the series to be available.

Can't get enough!

This is the continuation of Haley's story with team Jaguar. In this book we see Haley truly discovering life for the first time with the help of the guys. She gets a job, rides roller coaster, and all around experiences the joys of being young. As her feelings for the guys begin to deepen so does her suspicions of their motivations, and their roles at their job. Honestly, not much action happens in this one, but what makes it interesting is everything i've mentioned above, it's the little things. We finally get the promise of action at the end compelling us to keep on with the series- which i definitely plan to do. Reviews for book 3 promise angst and romance...count me in! As before, Emily Lawrence's performance was flawless, we can't forget the woman that single handedly brings so many multi-faceted character to life. Looking forward to hearing her in the next.

Another Great One, On to the Next!

Book 2 continues the story of Haley and the guys. They get to know each other better and the bonds and attraction grows. This 2nd book still is very PG like book 1 but again the story is interesting enough that the lack of steam is not an issue. It appears the the guys are also looking for Haley dad but it’s still up in the air if they are on the good or bad side. Getting a lead on Haley dad location the 3rd book should continue the mystery on who the bad guys are and what’s next for Haley future.

It keeps getting better and better!

Ok I listened to Phoenix and now this book and I feel I still know NOTHING!!! There is more descriptions of mundane activities than there is plot. Where is the actual plot? I would not recommend this series, in fact I stopped listening to Draco because I feel I am wasting my time. On to something else.

Not impressed

2nd installment and still very little about the story. Its all "character development". And what a character... Haley is sweet, but she's enamored with every man in the story like their ice cream flavors and she can't decide which is best. Its getting old.

The mystery is where is the plot

Its an interesting story but after 2 books o the same thing I'm just done. Why would Haley trust anything they say to her when they lie, keep information, and even drug her to "keep her safe." This is super messed up and creepy. All of the guys are older and keep taking advantage of her. What exactly is the main characters personality? Does she have any interests besides being good at everything she tries? She has no depth.

To stupid to live

The overall plot is interesting, but there is little character development or plot progression. It feels like this book and the first one should have been combined, and the repetitive bits removed.

plods along
