So fun

This storyline is clean but still with toe curling moments and angst and excitement and frustration in all of the best ways! Oh man I loved listening to this story!

Sweet story line

Love this author and her sweet love stories. So far this is my 4th book of hers and I enjoyed it just as much as the others! Highly recommend! This narration was my least favorite. While I enjoyed the dual point of view and male/female narration, the voices sounded much older than the characters themselves and I had a hard time deciphering between characters when the male was narrating.

Fun summer romance

I recently discovered Cindy Steel and have been reading all of her books. She’s a talented author and her books are darling! I have one bone to pick with her and that is this: spent my life in Arizona, Utah, and Idaho… have lived in each place for many years. And I don’t know one cowboy or farmer who calls it a baseball hat. It’s a cap. These men wear cowboy hats and baseball caps. Don’t forget your cap. Grab your hat. 😂 other than that! This book is nearly perfect!

Betting On Love

I recently finished the second in Cindy Steel’s- A Pride and Pranks Series. Logan and Tessa both find themselves back in their hometown for the summer. Logan is Tessa’s best friend’s older brother and childhood crush. Tessa has basically sworn off men after her last relationship went south. And Logan hasn’t turned into the type of man who you would date seriously. Their friend Jake places a bet that these two must date over the summer and thus the crazy fun begins. From mud fights, fun dates, and a few swoony kisses these two must decide if love is worth fighting for! You won’t want to miss this one. This book is second in the series but can be read as a standalone & is dual point of view. If you enjoy childhood crushes, forced proximity, the double or nothing bet, & a few swoony kisses this book is definitely recommended.
And I loved the narration.

Cute easy listen with chemistry

I loved this book! Tessa and Logan had great chemistry and I loved the story line. Performance was done well, too. Now we just need Jake’s love story!

Sweet, clean romcom

Anyone who enjoys authors who keep bedroom doors closed and minimal swearing in their romcoms will enjoy this. I really didn’t love the male narrator but I think the female was excellent!

Great story, bad call on narrator

First of all, this author has quickly become a favorite. What adorable stories! They’re happy, funny, feel-good plots and I often find myself grinning while I’m listening. I read the first of this series and half way through it i put this one in my library as well.
I was thrilled to see two narrators. those are my favorite. I love getting both perspectives and i prefer clearly distinct character voices. But- and this is a huge “but”- when a story about a 20-30 something is told in a voice of what sounds like a 50-something… i just can’t. It’s wrong. Aaaallllll wrong and. I. Cant. This one had terrible casting which is incredibly disappointing! The story itself is so good but totally mauled by Logan’s old-man voice.
If narration isn’t a make-or-break for you and you love happy romcoms, i highly recommend the listen!! However, if, like me, you find it hard to picture a character 20 years younger than his voice, buy the physical book and enjoy the story :)

Sweet, clean romance

There are a couple sensual kissing scenes, but no profanity or sex scenes. A sweet romance that I really enjoyed and look forward to the next installment in the series.

An excellent book made even better!

This is such a fun & engaging story as it's written, but the narrators were so good at conveying the characters - at one point when the hero's dad is talking to him, they both get choked up, & the male narrator nailed both voices so perfectly that I was getting choked up too! It's not often that I like the audio version better than the ebook, but this one is one of those rare gems!

Great story, loved the two views

Thank you for another great book! Loves the his and hers points of view. Easy read, just felt like the male voice could’ve been a little younger and sexier. But still a great performance!
