Acerca de esta escucha

I never expected that day to change everything...the day I met the girl of my dreams in the campus coffee shop.

She schooled me about music, saying my popstar background didn’t teach me what I really needed to know. She's become my muse, my inspiration, and my cowriter. Polishing my songs and making them shine.

And when a video of me playing one of my new songs goes viral, my life explodes in a second chance at the dream I thought was over six years ago. But if I take this opportunity, will our relationship survive?

So, I like this plot line but there were parts that were just over the top technical and it felt more like listening to a lecture than a story. I like the narrators’ voices but they read this like a manual - even the sexy parts, so I was not at all disappointed when the story ended. To find it was “to be continued”, well, I groaned. This story, with these narrators has so much potential. These narrators have great voices, especially considering the emotions each narrator shows when they speak for the other in their POV, just very little emotion when they speak their thoughts, which is the majority of the book. I want to know how it ends so I’ll listen to the sample when it comes out and hope they step up the directing on book 2.

Has potential but.....
