While this was marketed as your typical romantic comedy, there was much more depth here than I expected. I really liked it!

Excellent story about finding one’s self esteem through comforting the past. The characters were all well developed and relatable.

Charming

Fun story with the perfect amount of wit & humor. I enjoyed the narration, though it was difficult to understand at times, especially in the beginning, as you don’t know what’s going on yet in the book and the accent is very strong and there’s already a lot of unfamiliar dialogue. I would recommend though.

Could not stop listening to this book. I hope it gets made into a movie!!

Good to the last drop!

Excellently written and narrated story. I loved all the quirky characters. Gould was an “easy to listen to” narrator throughout. I loved how, often, Georgina’s statements seemed to end in a question. It suited her character well.

Refreshingly different love story

This story was refreshingly different and was deeper in the gut than I expected. I loved it. The narrator Madeline Gould has a wonderful voice, reminiscent of the voice of character Daphne played by Phoebe Dynevor in Bridgerton. I highly recommend this book!

Slow beginning, great narrator

I love, love, LOVED the narrator on this one. I could listen to her all day long. For me, the start of this was so slow, but she kept me engaged.

Loved It!

The story does start off slow but then it gets to the main points of the story. I couldn’t help but feel genuine connection with the character. Really loved it!

Great story with lots of facets!

This book kept my attention the whole time. It touched on first love, sexual harassment, family dynamics, finding your path in life, friendship, and more. It leaves you hopeful. I highly recommend!
