A bittersweet conclusion

Throughout the Don't Call Me Jupiter series, I've loved the honesty of the author's reflections on his life. This final installment has a more somber tone (if the neglect, abuse and abandonment of the first two books weren't enough), and it is deeply satisfying to read.

This was an excellent memoir, superbly told! I can’t say enough about it! Most memoirs, for me, have a lot of weak, uneventful pages. But this book kept me hooked. Mare was an enigma! An incredibly fascinating individual!

The author’s keen sense of humor made the book entertaining, even when circumstances were challenging. This was a fascinating true story about a bizarre upbringing and the five siblings who got through it with love and humor.
