Resumen del Editor

Five classic novelisations of TV adventures featuring Cybermen, Yeti and Ice Warriors!

In Doctor Who and the Cybermen by Gerry Davis, a weather control station on the moon comes under attack from a deadly army of Cybermen. In Doctor Who and the Tomb of the Cybermen by the same author, a party of archaeologists uncovers a vast reserve of dormant Cybermen - who then come terrifyingly to life.

In Doctor Who and the Abominable Snowmen by Terrance Dicks, a lonely Himalayan monastery falls prey to powerful robotic Yeti.

Doctor Who and the Ice Warriors takes us to the future, when an alien from Mars is found preserved in a glacier.

In Doctor Who: Earthshock by Eric Saward, the Cybermen are intent upon sabotaging a galactic peace conference.

Read by Anneke Wills, Michael Kilgarriff, David Troughton, Frazer Hines and Peter Davison, with Cyberman voices by Nicholas Briggs, these stories feature the Second and Fifth Doctors.

Each purchase is accompanied by a PDF booklet featuring full cast and credits, chapter-by-chapter navigation, and sleeve notes for each book by David J. Howe.

Fun except last story.

All of the stories are great except “Earth Shock”. “Earth Shock” was a huge disappointment in the Doctor Who cannon. It was when the Doctor first let one of his companions die.

so juvenile

Listening to Cybermen story. Was it written by a 10 year old? No science is involved. Hurtling a shop to the sun. 93 millon miles away from the moon, oh come on. Even 1 degree off and it would miss . Being captured by the sun's gravity and not being able to escape it at 93,000,000 miles away? seriously?

Why does a Cyberman ship need a flashing red light. if they need a microphone to speak, and they are on the moon's surface, no air, no sound. I'm a willing participant in suspension of disbelief, but this story is so bad that I can't stand it.

OMG, the second story was worse than the first. 'scientists' say don't touch anything, then they all touch stuff. " Don't push any buttons," and they all touch buttons. Deadly cyberman home planet, and all of them are so stupid that it made me sick. Gee, what possible good can come from messing around with cyberman controls. Such a childish story. Even the Dr. isn't the Dr we know and love. I couldn't stand it anymore. such asinine writing. Totally a waste of time!
