Dan Starkey... does an excellent job with the variety of characters at play here... Blending Victorian intrigue, Holmesian sleuthing and sci-fi humour to produce a first-rate little yarn... long-term Who writer Justin Richards brings the entire cast to life with his loving attention to characterisation

Dan Starkey displays a fantastic vocal range to imbue the story with a whole gamut of characters... the action sequences are well-paced and the dialogue bounces between the characters at a sensible speed

Paternoster Adventure

This is a fun short adventure for the Paternoster Gang and I do recommend it.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This was a fun read for those out there that love Madame Vastra, Jenny Flint, and Strax. I am really hopping to see more books about them or even perhaps a spin off show.

What other book might you compare Doctor Who: The Devil in the Smoke to and why?

This is a light read. Fun, entertaining, but something that even a child could listen to. I don't know exactly what other books I would compare it too.

I have not listened to any of Dan Starkey's other performances, but I loved his narration!

Yes I listened to this book all in one sitting. Then I listened to it again the next day just for fun while I was cleaning the house.

I loved this fun and entertaining book!

Not Bad

Nice listen but could have been better, good narration. But no Doctor. It's an adventure with his friends from the 10th Doctor, A Silurian and a Sontaran.

Great Story. Poor Audio.

What disappointed you about Doctor Who: The Devil in the Smoke?

Wonderful performance from Dan Starkey. The quality of the audio is very poor however.
