Ever since photographer Lacy Maguire caught her ex playing Pin the Secretary to the Elevator Wall, she's been content with her dog, Fabio; her three cats; and a vow of chastity. I enjoyed the story a great deal. It was fun, sexy, and a bit suspenseful. What I did not enjoy was the narration. It was frustrating to listen to Jennifer Woodward’s narration. Her inflection and tone changed from sentence to sentence, as did the voice of the characters. It took a few chapters just to get use to her voice. I’m glad I did, because the book was enjoyable. Good thing there’s a different narrator for the rest of the books or else I would have a hard decision about listening to them or not.

First time reading this author. Good story, to my thinking, somewhat light hearted. Nice for a Sunday afternoon read.

This book is wonderful. Great for fans of Lucy Score and Jennifer Crusie. Laugh out loud mystery with great characters and very hot romance.
