Dividend Investing is the definitive book on how to construct a portfolio of dividend income paying stocks to create a dependable, consistent source of income.

Dividends have long provided a reliable source of income used by everyone from the ultra wealthy to pragmatic hard workers who have diligently saved for retirement. Once established, a dividend stock portfolio can provide income that is not only tax advantaged, but can grow steadily into the future, keeping up with inflation, all while requiring only minimal intellectual work and no physical effort on the part of the investor.

Listeners will learn how to fully research a stock to reduce the risks of downside and ensure a steady future stream of dividend income. They will then learn how to construct and maintain a well organized portfolio that is appropriately diversified by style of company as well as industry and sector. Listeners will learn how to navigate the inevitable missteps of dividend cuts and negative surprises, while maintaining the integrity and income generation ability of their portfolios.

The author shares insights and experiences of her clients as they have navigated dividend income investing, and in doing so, brings her readers into a world of like-minded, real people who have worked hard, saved responsibly and are able to use their dividend income streams to live their lives happily and without financial stress.

Amazing level of patients and experience as Jenny walk through the benefits of dividends investing.

Exceptional a must read.

I consider myself a smart dividend investor. The insight given in this book can help any seasoned or novice dividend investors think about the path to panic free income.

Good Read

Good but maybe next book has more technical analysis of dividend investing (there's your title!). When to buy and when to sell. What metrics and history to consider. What red flags to look for once invested. The human stories were too many and apply to all investors so not really dividend specific.

Long view of income vs stock price

Jenny makes a very strong case for the benefits of dividend investing inside this book. I was reminded of what I was familiar with and thought I knew and learned new perspectives I had not previously considered. As I am getting close to retirement, it is way past time I consider them.

I have already added to one of my dividend positions, initiated a position with one company Jenny mentioned has been good for many years for her, and am looking at my other supposedly dividend positions to see if they measure up.

I also like the thoughts she provided on position size and concentration versus diversification. That just makes sense.

This book is a great listen or read if you want to learn more about dividend investing.

I learned a lot

No doubt this book is very useful for professional financial executives; however, for middle income people in retirement looking for information on investing their portfolio in dividends it is not useful.

Good for executives
