Smoking hot romantic suspense!

This romantic suspense starts off with the h lusting after her neighbor...and the H playing hard to get. That doesn’t last long, however, and we’re soon entertained by witty banter and steamy times...but this IS a romantic suspense soooo...bad guys, kidnapping, etc. Good story.

Steamy and Action packed!

This was my first Peyton Banks's book, and won't be my last. This is the first book in the Special Weapons & Tactics Series, a Military Romance, and BWWM Romance. Marcas (Mac) and Sarenas's story is short, fun, steamy, and action packed. I love the instant attraction, the sizzling chemistry, the strong characters, and the suspenseful storyline. Marcas, leader of his S.W.A.T. team, is alpha, protective and possessive. Sarena, an ER nurse, is feisty, and strong. The secondary characters are great and intriguing. I love the brotherhood among the members of the S.W.A.T. team. Wen Ross and Trei Taylor did a great job with the narration. Wen Ross is already one of my favorite narrators. This was my first listen to Trei Taylor's voice. She has a beautiful voice. Looking forward for the next book in the Series, Dirty Ballistics, Declan's story (Mac's best friend).

Steamy, action packed romance

Dirty Tactics by Peyton Banks is an action packed and steamy romance. The story literally drops you in the middle of the action from the start. We first meet Marcas in a SWAT raid.

The girl next door uses every opportunity to take a peak at her hot neighbor and wants to get closer to him. Sarena gets her chance when he walks into the Emergency Room where she works.

She stands her ground and puts him in his place, which he isn't used to. Unfortunately, her connection to him puts a target on her back. How far is Marcas willing to go to save Sarena? Will it be enough, or will he lose everything he has worked for?

Wow

This quick listen will leave you glued to your headset. This is a new author to me so first let me say that I can wait to pick up more of her books. Secondly - can we talk about perfect casting for the narrators? Hands down a fantastic listen and one I absolutely recommend.

This is a full length novel. In this first book of the Special Weapons and Tactics. This has some scenes not intended for those under 18. But the rest of you go right in.

Marcus MacArthur is a Navy Seal after his departure, and becoming a member of an elite SWAT team. His focus was to stay away from relationships as they were a distraction. Watch out for Sarena Rucker. Who is an emergency nurse at the local hospital, and the New Neighbor to Marcus. Can these two people build a friendship, or a romance? Will Marcus be able to focus enough to save Sarena?

Peyton Banks has written this suspenseful romantic story. It was a fast read and captured my heart at the very beginning. I absolutely love Marcus and Sarena. Their interaction with each other as well as their struggles made this story interesting as well as entertaining. They tried so hard to stay out of each other's lives. I found myself wanting more from this author. Well Done Peyton Banks! Well Done!

great story

I enjoyed listening to this military romance audiobook. This was a great book to listen to. The narrator made it fun and entertaining. They made the characters come to life with every word. They are connectable and truly made the story for me. What will happen when one night changes everything for Marcas and Sarena? When a target is placed on Sarena, will Marcas be able to save her before it's too late? I enjoyed their growth and chemistry. This is a great audio and I highly recommend it.

Great Audio!!

This was my first book by this author and I thought it was great! It is the first book in the Special Weapons & Tactics series. This was Mac and Sarenas's story and they were awesome main characters that pulled me into this fun & steamy romance. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and listening to more by these awesome narrators.

Sexy

This book was well written. It was straight to the point about their love for each other, also full of action. Both narrators did a wonderful job, kept me enthralled. Great job, Peyton Banks. I will be reading more of your books.

First time audible

So I found this author on TikTok and I’ve looked forward to reading and listening to all her books. This was the first I listened to and it’s everything as advertised. HEA and cheesy romance. I particularly liked how it wasn’t necessarily overly detailed on descriptions on ppl so you could fill in details yourself. The characters came across as relatively individual but I feel as though the male MC was a little on the nose stereotype but I will be the first to admit I’m not a romance reader. So it was enjoyable and maybe a little cliche in typical romance fashion but it was good enough for me to read more and finish the series and as well as investigate the author’s writing. I look forward to reading the rest of her books.

A hawt read!

Marcas + SWAT office + hawt neighbor Sarena = one freaking hot read. If you like, love and need more of a face paced, clothes dropping read this is your chance to grab it.

I adore this author, her writing and the fact that this is set I. South Carolina. Like seriously, feeling love it. The instant connection that Marcas and Sarena share is hard hitting. The SWAT team who we see through out the story is also a freaking hoot. These men all have a special bond and that allows them to tease Marcas in that special way on my a friend can. They keep him on his toes and just when he thinks he’s free of that pull to make his bacheloring, one night stand, I don’t do relationships kind of life more, the feel of Sarena under him makes all of it twist.

To say the man had a hard choice ahead of him is putting it lightly... what does he choose? You’ll have to read to see for yourself.
