Love me some MAX !!!!

This book was my favorite by far, an I
own all the books so far. Max humor is unmatch. The message of generational curses hear loud an clear. You did your thang Kenya Wright.

Max & family

I read the book first, so knew what to expect. I would suggest doing that first. Now, I laughed and was sad with this book. They went through a lot with Timur. The emotional and psychological stuff Max went through was overwhelming; him trying to sort through those land mines! Hopefully Max will know and find his love.
Narrator doing different character voices it was my favorite. However; he did an excellent performance on Maxwell’s character voice!

Loved It!

I love this series! It always has some unexpected events or circumstances that happen between the characters. Cary did a wonderful job with the narration! Can't wait to see what the gang is up to next!

This is the best book in the series

Maxwell is a mess. So funny and charasmatic. He deserves his own book. There are some really uncomfortable truths approached in this book with some very clever allegories.
Brava, Ms. Wright!

trigger warnings

excellent story; different point of view/more max-centric and that was a nice change. please be kind to yourself, as this has a pretty explicit reference to child sa. there’s little left to the imagination. whereas the other stories sort of mention it and let you sit in those feelings, this one kind of puts you in the moment and breaks your heart.
