Love this series

Kathryn Meyer Griffith has another hit. Have read many of her books, but this series is my favorite! Johnnie C. Hayes does an excellent job narrating. The characters come alive,

Unique story premise

I read and enjoy the first books. It was certainly an interesting story line. The character development and dialog was rather simplistic.. but I guess I was willing to overlook that for… well …dinosaurs!… in a modern day National Park! The last few books i splurged with a sale and got the audio books. I wished I hadn’t . The voice talent reminded me of Great Grandpa Willie reading a 3 year old a bedtime story. Great voice and cadence but seemed completely out of place for this story. The writing and dialog was almost painful to listen to! Is this the same author? Did I really not notice how stilted and overly wordy the first books were? I toughed it out until the last book. But with 20 minutes remaining to the end… I gave up. I could not take it anymore. I quit. UGH. Characters would repeat things over and over. It sounded like the work of a 6 th grader. So sorry! But it’s true. I really wanted to like them.
