So helpful, and a great easy read!!

This book is very well written and one of the best parenting books I have read!!!! It has so many particle tips!!

Enlightening and motivating

I put off this book for so long because I was terrified to do a digital detox with my kids. As i listened, I found that i was encouraged to give it a try. The author provided evidence into the issues with screens, then practical tips for the detox and personal examples. We are on day 3 of our detox and going strong!

Practical advice, research/result based wisdom, and scary truths, all wrapped in one relatable, funny, hope-filled book! Digital Detox was so engaging, ironically, I couldn't put my phone down until I finished it! Molly DeFrank has managed to successfully combine facts, case studies, and personal experiences to show just how important it is that we learn to be intentional about our tech use and teach the next generations to use tech responsibly as well. I am so grateful for people and parents who have found healthy ways to navigate this tech-trapped world and who can teach me without shaming or guilt-tripping. Fantastic!

This is an excellent book with a ton of stats and research and resources and ideas and encouragement. Worth the read for any parent. I wish there were more hands on ideas for teens as most of the suggestions were for younger children but even so, it was still worth the read! I’m very encouraged and excited to make a plan for our family’s detox!
