An honest thrill ride about character. No punches pulled. The story was bereft of any plot holes or huge leaps

Great book. I could not stop listening I finished it two days. I loved this book.

To much drama towards the end

I liked the book up until the drama with his bosses girlfriend, the boss and the DEA agent, the girlfriend he had to dump to protect her, etc. . Too much of “I feel conflicted, confused, etc.” Went from a good action story to emotional turmoil. Not sure why authors feel compelled to bring in a female character to get the men at odds with each other.
Didn’t finish as had enough.
