Believable characters, my home town!

Loved this latest installment of the world of August Snow. While reading previous books is not a prerequisite, it really helps to have read the first three books to have a complete background. I would recommend those books to readers as well. I first read this series in a book club, and I am so glad to have started the series.

Wonderful read

Once again, I finish another August Snow novel feeling pleased and exhilarated. The series is tight and each book is well-paced. The Michigan/Detroit references are on point. They are nice Easter eggs for a native Detroiter. I can’t wait for the next one!

Surprisingly Good

As a Michigander, I loved all the references to familiar places, and the plot was engaging.

As captivating as Alex Cross. Even the narrator has a familiar tone to his voice. Like visiting with a long time friend.

Snow relationships with the other characters in this book all flawed but coming together understanding and love

Over all four books were good love the Spanish language and the banter between snow and Tomas
