FROM THE AUTHORS OF THE TIKTOK SENSATION, ADDICTED TO YOU!

AN INSTANT USA TODAY BESTSELLER!

Ex-grifter Phoebe Graves’ new life threatens to come crashing down around her in the next binge-worthy novel from the New York Times bestselling authors of the Addicted series.

As the daughter of a con artist, Phoebe Graves only knew a life of swindling the rich until her best friend and fellow grifter, Hailey Tinrock, proposed an idea to start a new, honest life in a wealthy college town of Connecticut. Once there, they decided to leave behind their deceitful tricks and be truthful for once. But you know what they say about best intentions. . . .

While Phoebe is fake-dating Jake Waterford, the third-born son to an uber-wealthy and influential family, she’s actually dating and falling deeper in love with Brayden “Rocky” Tinrock—Hailey’s older brother. To make matters more complicated, Phoebe’s mother shows up out of the blue with conniving match-making designs of her own.

Her mother’s arrival threatens to unravel Phoebe’s plans. To keep her love, her friends, and her newfound happiness, Phoebe will have to return to her old games . . . and win.

4 stars for me!!

I don't knowww-Rocky and Phoebe might just be my favorite Ritchie sister couple. Their banter is everythinggg and I love how they feel like true equals in every way. I started this series because the blurb hooked me-a grifter/ con artist family was something l've never read. It was something new/different and I was super into it.

I enjoy the pacing and flow of these books and I love how we are peeling back more layers of this tangled up web of their lives and who they are. I did not see that plot twist or the cliffhanger coming ee. I'm already counting down to the next book and crossing my fingers that Rocky and Phoebe get the HEA they deserve!

Audio performance was great. The narrators actually sounded like they could be them / their age so I enjoyed it.

I love Rocky and Phoebe sooo much!

This is their BEST yet! I don't know how Krista & Becca create such complex storylines with so many characters and make it feel so effortless. It has high intrigue, suspense, a love for the ages, found family, the wittiest banter, so many OMFG moments, and friendships that LEAVE NO CRUMBS! This book is EVERYTHING! The narrators did a spectacular job bringing these characters to life!! I can't wait to listen to this over & over again!

Best Book of the Year!!

Yes. Give me more Rocky and Phoebe, and the rest of the team! There is a lot going on in this book, with the primary relationship between Rocky and Phoebe, but also the other members of their family holding a lot of space in the plot. But it all flows so well for the stories to take place, for each person to grow into themselves rather than what they were trained to do. I saw a lot more personal development taking place, which took the story to another level. And of course, the relationship between Rocky and Phoebe just blossomed once they both admitted and acted upon their feelings. They kept things nice and spicy for all the shenanigans to take place.

This was a great follow up to the first and we've delved more into the story and getting to know these characters. It does move a little slow here and there in the story and I wish there was a bit more interaction with the the rest of the group but overall I really enjoyed the peeks into the past and how the story is moving along can't wait for the finish! Narration was done well.

Great Follow up

Okay, let's get one thing straight-this second installment definitely came in swinging harder than the first. Destructively Mine turns up the heat, the action, and the mystery, finally giving us the emotionally-charged, slow-burn-yet-scorching romance between Phoebe and Rocky that we deserved. I mean... forbidden, loyal, and yearning? Yes, please.
This book dives deeper into the core crew-the siblings and their found-family dynamic-and yanks at the seams of their carefully stitched-together lives. Lies unravel, trust is broken, and the sins of their oh-so-wonderful (read: terrible) parental figures start surfacing. Yet despite the chaos, there's something beautiful about how this group still clings to each other like life rafts in a storm. The familial bond is messy, complicated, and strangely comforting.
Yes, there's a cliffhanger (because why wouldn't there be?), and yes, I kind of saw it coming-but it still got me. And thanks to the acknowledgments, we know there's a third book on the horizon, promising to explore what "home" means for these beautifully broken characters. I'm ready... I think?
That said, as much as I admire the uniqueness of the storyline and the layered mystery, I still feel oddly detached. Like I'm watching it all happen through a pane of glass. I want to care more than I do-but something about the emotional connection just isn't fully landing for me. It's good, intriguing, well-written, and spicy in all the right places... but I don't love it the way I hoped I would.
Still, you better believe l'll be first in line for book three. Because I need to know where this wild ride ends.
