Awesome

I think this one is better than the first book but the wasn't enough story progression until the last few chapters and that cliffhanger was diabolical

New and exciting

Fun and exciting, I’m very interested to see the rest of the series. The mc isn’t op or anything but you can tell he had a lot of potential and your left just waiting to see him unlock it

I can't wait for book 3 to come out. This sore is so good and it leaves off at the best part

Mostly filler

Most of this book was a training montage, getting by in school, and more emphasis on his older brother George. Doesn’t get really good until the last 2-3 hours. The narrator is awesome as usual, but the story felt very lacking. I would skip this title and jump ahead to the next one.

so much more than the first book

this one is so much more fleshed out and the story really grows legs. we see much more built and more of the world and how interesting the magics and demons are. that ending tho!
