Real suspense and real romance

LOVED this Elite Guardian book - maybe my favorite (maybe, I'd suggest reading the others in the series - they are also so good). I binged the book in two days and invented reasons to clean or run errands to keep listening :-).

Full points for enjoyable reading

The storey shot off the page with in a few short paragraphs and never slowed! All of Linette's books have been interesting but this story line was suspenseful to the end.

I enjoyed this story. Far and away better than the last book in the series.

Loved the story between Preston and layla, the end is a little hard to take, not as believable. But good. Didn’t care for narrator.

This was a great story with lots of action and several twists and turns to keep you on your toes.

What a fun story. It kept me guessing most of the story. There were laugh out loud scenes as well. The perfect combo!
