My first audio book

I usually prefer the written word but tried the audio book for a long drive I had to make. Enjoyable way to continue the Deep series by Nick Sullivan.

Best villains yet

Best of the series to this point, as the villainy this time is both plausible and interesting. And the writing of Emily is the best yet too.

What a Hoot

I'm not sure who is better, Nick Sullivan the author or Nick Sullivan the narrator, both are great. Characters are superb, especially Emily who is a spicy Brit with a sharp tongue and loads of fun listening to her dialogue. Can't wait for next story.

ACTION, ADVENTURE AND SUSPENS

If you like adventure and the sea, this is a must.
But start with book 1 and you to will fall in love with Boone and Emily. The only bad thing I can say, is the waiting time between new books...🤩

Loved diving back into this series

AUDIO BOOK REVIEW. I think that with every book in this series, I keep saying that it's the best one yet. But this one really is the best one yet!

The tropical Caribbean destinations of each of these books make the stories even more engaging. Sullivan's descriptions take readers on a journey that includes sparkling ocean waters, underwater wonderlands, and of course, drinks and eats at a grass hut beach bar -- great for armchair travel. DEEP DEVIL takes us to Cozumel and Isla Mujeres, more familiar than the places in the first three books, but still exotic and exciting -- and full of intrigue and mystery.

The plot is great with divemasters Emily and Boone pulled into the world of the uber-rich, uber-messed-up people who dwell there. Twists, turns, and edge-of-your-seat action keep readers enthralled especially as the story ramps up to the big reveal.

Author Nick Sullivan's narration of the story is excellent. He's comfortable with his main characters and voices them perfectly. Particularly, I give him a tip of the hat for bringing Emily to life, in all her hilarious and sassy glory. He's been tweaking this character from the start and she's just right now.

With characters to loathe and love (including our favorite potlicker pup), an unforgettable setting, and a well-crafted story, DEEP DIVE is among my favorite books of the year. And I am thrilled that there are still two more books in the series that I can -- wait for it -- dive into right away.

A wonderful, fast-paced, action adventure book. I highly recommend! The narration is spot on, too!

My favorite in the series so far!

Another wonderful read/listen! These stories are so fun and absolutely great entertainment! Traveling to the different Caribbean islands is a mini vacation every chance I get to listen… Love that the author is the narrator and he does such an excellent job! Can’t wait for the next one!

Boone & Emily save the day again!

As usual, Nick delivers a well developed plot while continuing Boone & Emily's relationship. The twist at the end was jaw dropping. I always finish his books wanting to visit the actual locales he writes about - enjoy the food and fellowship.

Great read - difficult to put down, especially when the plot twisted!

I’m so glad Nick Sullivan started writing books as well as narrating. The Deep series has been great fun. The stories are good, the characters are great, and of course, the narration is amazing.
