VIP Read

Like many people seeking to improve their knowledge and understanding of the human experience, it is so easy to fall into deception. Playing with angel cards, healing with stones, meditating on symbols… They do not line up with scripture. Doreen Virtue has done a wonderful job explaining her mistakes, asking for forgiveness, and giving biblical principle for why she was wrong. Every single phrase and thought is backed up with scripture. There are so many blessings in seeking Jesus, this book makes me hungry for more, More Bible, and more from Doreen. The narration is beautiful. The voice is calm and easy to listen to and at a cadence and pace appropriate for the reflective nature of the words and message. I will look for more in this genre, from this author, and from this narrator. It was a great use of time and Money well spent.

This book is a must read for New Agers. I could not put it down. There’s not a single Christian who could’ve gotten through to my thick head than listening to the author’s thorough outline of how the devil infiltrates New Age practices and beliefs. I’m incredibly grateful for her strength in vulnerability and hard work getting this story out. Thank you so much. By the Grace of God, I have been saved from confusion by Doreen Virtue.

Doreen, it makes my heart so happy that you’ve been saved!!! I’ve followed you (lightly) over the years. I was deceived also about the “new age”... I went to a church that started basing their messages off of “The Secret”, saying that you could find all of this in the Bible and using scriptures to justify what they said. One sermon in particular, they talked about gratitude and then handed out “gratitude rocks” at the end to keep in our pockets. I left that church shortly after that because my spirit always told me that something was wrong with that! I also had started getting involved with Theta Healing at one point... but was frustrated because my spirit wouldn’t allow me to remember what was taught or perform any of it successfully. I knew it was all wrong but didn’t understand why, so I gave it all up. I didn’t think that I was meant for any of it because God wouldn’t “bless” me to be a “healer”. Now I know why! And your testimony just confirmed it all!!! THANK YOU!!! It’s been several years since I’ve sought out new age knowledge. But when I learned that you had been born again and you had written this book, I couldn’t wait to see if it was true! I’m SOOO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!! May the He continue to use you as a vessel of truth! A must have!

Absolutely loved this book. As a baby Christian coming out of the new age it was just the book I needed at just the right time. I will listen and re-listen to this book many times, I have no doubt.

The Ultimate Testimony

I too was a New Age follower. I owned a wellness center with every facet of the new age and sold Doreen’s former books and cards. I attended her workshops. I am so grateful that Jesus saved her so that she can share her story and lead others back to the Bible and to Jesus. These are scary times. There most certainly is a deceptive Devil and we do need the teachings and grace of our lord Jesus. The only human without sin. The son of God and our Savior.

Doreen's Testimony Changed the Course of My Life

I have been a Christian since 2006 but have always struggled with demonic spiritual oppression. Throughout a series of losses and traumas I found myself questioning my faith and heading towards new age practices, unknowingly and unintentionally. I began having dreams that turned into visions of events that would come true. I believed they were from God but with them came tremendous fear, illness and a spirit of heaviness. I began experiencing demonic occurrences and I felt like I was being attacked and stalked by demonic forces everywhere I went. I finally cried out to God and asked him to drain the poison from me and to help me. It was then that he brought along help in certain areas of my life and the dreams and visions stopped. I have been through a year of Christian professional counseling and have worked through much of the trauma I had experienced and it has brought tremendous healing and freedom. Even at this point, however, I was unaware of the gravity of demonic forces behind many of my issues, until I found Doreen's YouTube channel. She helped me to make sense of so much of what was going on in my life and I got rid of many of my artifacts and changed my way of life and thinking. She helped me to understand that I was on a road away from God and into spiritual bondage. Ultimately, God saved me and did not allow it to happen but I am so grateful to this woman for her testimony. It has brought so much clarity to my life and has helped change my life. I highly recommend this book.

Beautiful heartfelt tell-all

I praise God for Doreen’s miraculous conversion. She was saved about a year before I was and I was also involved in an apostate religion and some new age. Her growth, her testimony has been a blessing to me. This book is an in depth tell-all of the deceptive practices of new age, how it is not compatible with Christianity. She does an excellent job of point to where in the Bible we can find specific contradictions. Great job Doreen - praying for hearts to be convicted and repentant from deception. It matters which Jesus you follow.
