Perhaps My Favorite of All!!!

This is starting to tie everything together!

I do not wish to spoil for any other readers, BUT… this may be my favorite of the entire series. (However… I’ve said that before!😂)

Again, the narration is flawless! I adore Clifford… the rest you shall have to enjoy for yourself!!!

I really enjoyed this newest volume in the Lady Swift series. The plot and pacing was very good and I enjoyed how Seldon and Eleanor have gotten in step with each other. Looking forward to their next adventure!

Verity bright outdid herself this book. It was fun, funny, engaging, twisty, heartwarming, and romantic. I cannot wait for the next book.

My guilty pleasure

I love Lady Swift! The wholesomeness of the stories, the kindness of the characters, the historical details AND THE FOOD descriptions. It never fails to delight me!

I like the 3 main characters but find the dog a bit de trop. the story was complicated enough to be fascinating but somehow the flow was uneven enough to make me unsatisfied with the ending.

A Very Intricate and Interesting Story

After finding this series late last year, and reading them in order, it was with excited anticipation that I pre-ordered this. I realized how much I had missed the storytelling. Verity Bright weaves a great tale. We are still learning about Eleanor and her new husband Hugh, Clifford the Butler and Gladstone the Bulldog. The “ladies” are missed but we will see them in future stories.
This story takes place in Paris on their honeymoon. Along the way Eleanor meets someone from her long ago childhood, a sad sculptor, various law enforcement officers, a French Aristocrat, Art collectors, and other scoundrels as well as kind, good, people.
PLEASE don’t make us wait a year for the next installment.

I am so happy we got a full book of Eleanor and Hugh! This was a great mystery and I loved being in Paris with the crew. I get these books for free on KU but I always pay for the audiobook because it’s just not the same without Karen Cass. She IS Lady Swift to me!

When will a new Eleanor Swift book come out??! Each one in the series was wonderful! So happy they were married!

surprising and delightful

I always enjoy the adventures of Eleanor, Clifford and Hugh. The banter as they solve serious murders is such fun, if one can have fun dealing with a crime.

I did mis her ladies and Tomkins, but taking everyone on their honeymoon would have been too much.

The story was engaging and the narrator, as always, were excellent.
