unexpected villian

Very good reader period and since i'm from the east coast, I enjoyed the location.References

Not bad at all!!!!

There are many stories I would love to finish but the narrator throws me off but I could hear this person telling a story as if it were his own and that made me stay. The book itself was good. I thoroughly enjoyed and I also knew that woman was lying at the end and that she was indeed a killer. That's like a people hiding their hand situation and I loved this book. Down to earth, realistic, and good!!!!!

The battle of Jericho…

In the Outer Banks, NC, life is idyllic…unless you’re former Sheriff Jericho Flynn. Jericho lost his way, and job, when his beloved wife accidentally drowned…by burying himself in ‘the bottle’. In fact, Jericho is sleeping off a bender…on the beach no less, when he receives word that his teenage son has been arrested for his gf murder! Now Jericho has to sober up and prove his son’s innocence before an overzealous DA throws the book at him. Lots of plot twists..,and, oh I so wanted to shake Jericho at times!! Excellent writing and narration. Looking forward to the next book.

Great mystery!

I loved the story but I was a bit disappointed with the ending. I won't give anything away but having to do with the writing of a book. Anyway, the narrator did a good job but the voice for one of the characters was awful. All in all, I enjoyed this book!

Story is okau but the narrarator is awful!!

The plot line was plausible and fairly intriguing. You figure it out pretty early in the book. The reader was TERRIBLE!!

I think the story could have been good but it was very long and drawn out

Broken and not redeemed

I did not enjoy the main character. There was nothing redeeming about his character. I finished the book because I wanted to know about his son and co-worker. I have read stories with broken characters before but there is something redeeming about them.
