Addicted

Not sure why I am fond of this series by Ms Quinn but they suck me in and I keep listening to them. Likely it’s because The Alice Network and The Huntress we’re so astoundingly amazing.

Love the story, Can’t stand the narration.

The pronunciation is awful. This narrator has NO clue. Domitian is pronounced duh-mi-shn, Vespasian veh spaa see uhn. Every time I hear these it takes me out of the story. Yeesh.

Another great book by Kate Quinn!

Such an interesting and intriguing story! After reading the first in this series, this one gave the history of the characters. Very well written!

Addictive!!

this story kept me riveted the whole way through. I found it real hard to put it down till I finish it. I'm moving on to the third book in the series enjoying the generational storytelling. Give it a try you'll enjoy it!

Great book!

I read The Mistress of Rome before I read this book, and I enjoyed Mistress of Rome a little better than this one, however it was still a great book and very interesting stories and characters!

This needed to be the first book

I liked this story, it should have been the first in the series, details in the first book make more sense now.

Riveting though . . . Shouldn't this have been

the first book in the series? It gives a beautiful perspective on the world that created the story scape of Mistress of Rome. Either way don't sleep on this author. If you love Anita Diamant or Maria Kalogridis you will eat this tome up.

Fascinating book

I like this book, I like the characters in this book I like the very methodical way I live through this book from beginning to end. so far I’ve gone through two books in the series and I like them both I like the way the ending is a mystery to the very end. Kate Quinn is very knowledgeable compelling after, the way she uses history to tell a story is amazing. I would highly recommend any adult to read this book.
