Good, but past installments better

If you like the series, ultimately you will like this book. That said, the author opted for more narrative on his part this time around rather than let the characters carry the story. You have great characters and great material…it would be much better to run with that rather than go on “explaining” things. I liked the book and the end was fun…but we could use a little less author and a lot more character interaction.

I did this one on audio. It’s war with detail. Not Team Yankee type detail (or anything Clancy did), but enough, with decent accuracy, that I would read/listen again to a Tata offering. My

Love the action and suspense felt through the while book. All of Tata's books are this good.

Dated in 2023, politics of author seeping through

Was ok listen while mowing lawn, etc., but isn't my favorite read. A bit stilted, with too redundant explanation of Jake's motivations.

Exciting and complex

Jake saves the day but the characters are dilabolitical and dangerous. Does cassie deserve his love and how about those fight scenes.

from someone who would know...Tata's years of service makes make pray that we are prepared to respond effectively.

Best one yet!

This is in my opinion the best book to date from this author. I cannot wait for the next one.
