Resumen del Editor

Given a week’s notice in her current job, Eden Jameson is desperately looking for something new. Being a nanny for her widowed best friend, Hanna, is the ideal solution to both their problems.

David Painter has other ideas. Having a stranger in the house - even if she is his sister's best friend - could ruin everything he’s worked so long to achieve. He needs to get rid of this nanny and fast.

When Hanna dies unexpectedly, the reading of the will is a shock. Eden and David have been left joint custody of the baby and joint ownership of the house. Can they overcome their differences, or is it too late?

Good Narration

He was her ex boyfriend, while she was a nanny for his sister. Dying she knew or hoped they would get together again. With joint custody of the child and house. All that was missing was love and marriage.
Difficult in the beginning, he had so many secrets, but ended in a happy note. Given audio for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

He broke her heart but can he now keep her safe?

When I started Daffodils In March I wondered if it would be like the previous book in the series. It was and it wasn't. The setting was totally different, and of course, the characters were as well, but Clare Revell's signature gritty Christian romantic suspense was still plenty evident.

I found Daffodils In March to be quite interesting in that, for the first half or so of the book, it had more of a contemporary romance feel and then in the last half the suspense really took off.

I really appreciated that there was less language in this book, which, in my opinion, makes a much better story. However, I did have a number of if-this-than-how-come-not-this type questions by the end. And, as much as I liked Eden, David made me so mad at his jerk behavior. Though, I think this shows just how well Clare Revell involved me in the story, my emotions were certainly engaged.

If you listen to the audiobook like I did the standalone quality of the Flowers Can Be Fatal series is really nice. You can listen to one and while later read the next without missing a thing. I really like the narrator, her accent is perfect for the very British characters, but the sound quality leaves something to be desired. However, if you are into British fiction from a genuine British author, or you like Christian romantic suspense, don't let the sound quality keep you from enjoying a good story.

(I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher. All opinions are entirely my own.)

The daffodils are more than Window dressing.

A guy tries to stop his sister engaging a governess, which ends up being his former sister in law and former love.
Then there's lots of drama, but to go into detail would give a good story away.

Sweet second chance romance

This is a sweet second chance romance. I loved most of the character. I wasn't the biggest fan of David until much later in the book. I liked Eden and thought she was a very loving wonderful friend to Hanna. There was more death in this book than I would of liked but it didn't ruin the story. I liked that this was a Christian romance as well. This book isn't for everyone because of the religious aspects to it but I would highly recommend it to others who enjoy this genre. The narrator was alright. It took me awhile to warm up to her...but she did a good job reading the book. I am glad I did because I will be listening to some of the other books in this series shortly. This is the first book I have listened to by this author and read by the narrator. I know others will enjoy this book as much as I did.
