absolutely enjoyed

Great take on an Apocalypse. Definitely a creative and fresh take on such a situation. I really liked the relationship growths. Thats a big part of harem for me. And Cap's story of their escape.... wow. Great book all the way around. Honestly it took me longer then it should've bc I powered through book 2 as well. Sorry... not sorry.

great apocalypse tale.

Story was a unique take on the apocalypse, good build up, great background from the MC. Author for sure has a military background based on some of the things discussed. World as he knew it ends, new rules must be followed. Book has base building,,very detailed base building. I really enjoy world building and this one does a great job of that. It adds to the overall story line and makes it feel more visceral. I don't want to ruin the story too much but the Main and supporting characters are great; the storyline itself is excellent.

The narrators are new to me, I have not heard them before that I can remember, but they deliver on the story and make it come alive. Good duo and I will be happy to listen to more of their work in the future.

Highly recommended audiobook.

cyberpunk addiction here i go

yeah I thought I was weening out of my cyberpunk addiction but this book put me right on the wagon and I can't get enough

An improvement over the previous version.

Don't get me wrong, Chris Graves did a great job narrating the previous version. However, Jack and Alexa's range of voices and accents bring more life to the characters. It feels like I'm listening to a radio drama.

Very interesting Apocalyptic story

I honestly think the book may be better than the audiobooks for the exposition. The voices of the narrators are excellent but Jack doesn’t come across as a haunted soldier but like he’s reading a weirdly spaced novel. It’s not horrible but it definitely feels like this is one of his first narrations. Also, the story is a little confusing at first. This may be easier to discern by reading, as well, because the back and forth of dialogue comes across stilted a little. There were a couple of repetitious phrases in the first few chapters and some odd interference 26 minutes from the end, but the story itself was super engaging when you figured out who is who. Unless you’re nit-picky you will like the book. Hopefully we’ll get to see the narrators more embody the characters with future books in the series!

Expect the unexpected

Looking at the cover and the title I was thinking this was going to be another space novel but I was wrong. This is an amazing book. A fun listen and I am invested in the story. I can’t wait for the next book

awesome story

a few audio flaws here and there but hardly enough to take notice, it's truly an enticing story so far and the voice actors did an amazing job. im about to binge the next book. I'm excited to hear how this story progresses.

Base Building and Alien Invasion

For the first couple chapters, I had a hard time with the readers. I am not sure if it was the recording or my head phones. I stuck with it and I found that I couldn't turn it off. This caused me to lose a few hours of sleep. The narrators did a fine job after the first few chapters and I could not be happier. This does have a harem, base building, and looting. I am waiting to see what the next book has to offer.

Porn for preppers - alien sci-fi later in series

Good book. The location and supplies put together for an end of the world event are as impressive as the ladies.

Rest of series: transitions to aliens, sci-fi and harrem.

Definitely worth completing the series (I have read through book 3, waiting on rest of series). Worth re-reading.
