Acerca de esta escucha
Each story in this gripping volume will captivate you with its harrowing details and shocking revelations. With meticulous research and keen insights, you'll gain a deeper understanding of society's dark underbelly and the tragic consequences of evil deeds.
In Volume #8: Murder Most Sadistic you’ll listen to stories of people who weren’t satisfied with mere murder and wanted their victims to suffer in ways that are unspeakable. Listen to how detectives and forensic science identified, tracked down, and convicted these twisted offenders.
Volume #8 includes:
- The Fetish: What began as a peculiar fascination with women's feet evolved into a chilling series of murders. One killer's descent from early deviant behavior to the brutal slayings of seven women. Learn how twisted desires left a trail of terror and death, culminating in one of Oregon's most infamous criminal cases.
- The Worst: An ordinary appearing antique dealer in Kansas City was actually a man whose sadistic tendencies led him to become one of the most horrifying serial killers. The Kansas City Butcher preyed on vulnerable young men, luring them into his home where they would face unimaginable torture and brutality. One desperate escape by a victim unraveled the gruesome truth and a shocking discovery that finally brought him to justice.
- The Years Add Up: A peaceful community in Rhode Island was rocked by a series of brutal murders that left investigators baffled and residents terrified. It began with the horrifying discovery of a young mother savagely stabbed 58 times in her own home. The case went cold until a woman and her two young daughters were found brutally murdered, their bodies mutilated.
- Plus 11 more shocking, true crime murder stories.
A Word of Warning: The explicit details of these murders come directly from eyewitness accounts, interviews, police reports, court transcripts, crime scenes, and autopsy reports. They contain disturbing facts that may not be suitable for all listeners.

True Crime with out the nighmares!
Fans of true crime will like the Curated True Crime #8: Murder Most Sadistic well researched Ms Malton covers so crimes you might have heard a little about and others that you have never heard of. She gives you the facts without making the sensation. While the crimes are disturbing, the matter of fact delivery keeps the horror factor to a minimum. Perfect for people who want to read about true crimes but don't want nightmares!

A Four star read/listen
Curated True Crime #8: Murder Most Sadistic: Murder, Madness & Mayhem, Book 8, my first read from authors Jamie Malton & Aiden Galway (Author). A 4-hour 18-minute/170-page serial killer audiobook. “I received a complementary Audible copy of this book back in January and am finally getting around to reading and voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more from this author with Curated True Crime #12: Deadly Stalkers: Murder, Madness & Mayhem (Curated True Crime, Volume 12) already on my TBR list. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Interesting little-known cases
This is a well written book that tells the crimes of people that haven't been already written about a hundred times. There isn't a bunch of "fluff" to fill the pages which is refreshing. The crimes are a mix from different times and places around the world. I enjoyed (It always seems wrong to say you enjoy books like this, doesn't it?) the amount of information about the people and the crimes themselves. Some of this can be hard to hear. Nothing was "softened" for the purpose of the book. I definitely recommend this book for people who are interested in true crime and trying to understand what makes people like this tick.

Well Written
This book was well written and went deep into the events and people. While I had heard of one or two of the killers, I really enjoyed learning about the less famous ones. This helps immortalize the victims and warns the public about these people. I would read more books.
I'm not big on the narrator. His voice is often grating. There is a serious monotonous tone that works well with the subject matter though.

True Crime that true crime fans will love
As as true crime fan this kept me involved on each story as the storyline is very detailed with nothing held back. I also liked the fact that Aiden kept me at attention as some audio storytellers are kind of boring and then I lose interest not in this case. I loved the variety of cases and how each one was different.
