Great book for quickly learning the fundamentals

This book covers all the core fundamentals to help you understand the Cryptocurrency world and the best way to get involved.

Excellent and easy book on cryptocurrency

It would be rare to find someone who hasn’t heard of Bitcoin; however, many people don’t know what it actually is. Cryptocurrency seems scary to a lot of people – it even contains “crypto" in the name, which literally means mystery. Johnson takes us away from his fantastic guides on stocks and trading to give us a stellar overview of what cryptocurrency is and why we shouldn’t be afraid of it. He gives a great introduction, including that only two percent of the American population actually uses it even though it could be a great investment. Most people have heard of Bitcoin, but Johnson also introduces other types of cryptocurrency such as Litecoin and Ether, and he does not shy away from the fact that they can indeed be risky investments. He makes it easy to understand what cryptocurrency is and the technology behind it. Also beneficial is the fact that the chapters are not too long and drawn out – they are short and simple, which makes it easier to understand even though the topic can be very confusing. I can honestly say that I would now be more comfortable investing in a form of cryptocurrency like Bitcoin or Litecoin than I was prior to listening to this book. Recommended!

Love, Love, LOVED this book. Best book I’ve read on crypto so far

My husband and I recently decided to look into the crypto currency boom as a possible investment, and while he read stuff online and get a good grasp of things, there is so much out there it’s overwhelming, plus I require things a little more broken down than a reference or article found online. So I started downloading different books on audible on Bitcoin, Blockchain, and cryptocurrency.
Andrew Johnson’s book is the best I’ve read so far, and does a really good job of breaking it all down into understandable terms as well as what each term means. I liked that he breaks down the top crypto currencies out there now, their current values, and how volatile the whole system is. I appreciated he did not get into the technicalities of Blockchain because honestly, it’s way over my head, but what he does mention is very understandable and makes it easy to grasp.
As noted in other reviews, he does not actually get into how and where to buy into cryptocurrency, which others found disappointing, but if you read the tittle it says “Book 1” so I’m hoping he has a follow up book about how and where to buy into the market coming because his style of writing and how he breaks things down for us “newbies” is very considerate compared to other books I’ve read.
Overall still a good read (or listen in my case) on Cryptocurrency and I would recommend to anyone who isn’t familiar with any of this ne ,ark t and wants to know more.

The End of Paper Currency as We Know It?

Over the past month or so, I went from not even knowing that bitcoin and cryptocurrency were a thing to suddenly hearing about them on almost a daily basis. Though I still haven't fully been able to grasp exactly how cryptocurrency works, it's through people like Andrew Johnson who have been able to provide me with a helpful start-up guide that I'm steadily starting to understand this technology-based currency a little bit more. What I particularly liked about this book was the fact that not only did he describe what cryptocurrency is and how one can go about obtaining it, but he also highlighted some of the dangers that may not seem so obvious to those less familiar with the technology. It's very easy to fall into scams these days, but Johnson did a fantastic job of pointing out some warning signs to look for in order to help assure everyone's money stays safe and protected. Finally, I thought Nicki Gallo did a great job with the narration. Her soothing voice kept me engaged and interactive the entire duration of the novel.

Another great tool

Cryptocurrency is a new idea for me, I find it sort of mysterious yet very intriguing. When I first got this book I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into, but now that I have read this book I am feeling very confident in my ability to earn money with cryptocurrency.

I like that this book doesn't just jump right in and assume you know what cryptocurrency is or how it works. This is a wonderful step by step guide that will steer you in the right direction.

I have read several of Andrews books and find them all incredibly insightful. He knows what he's talking about and that is obvious in this book as well.
