I really enjoyed listening to this story! There’s so much that happens in this romance, between the drama, the danger, and the romance, but I absolutely loved Krista and Ryan! I really enjoyed that Krista wasn’t afraid to go after what she wanted and she had a ton of inner strength! Ryan really had to battle his own self and his own desires, wanting to keep Krista safe and secure, but wanting to claim her as his own. The danger element in this book had me on the edge of my seat and I was so curious about what would happen next! Ms. Grant did a fantastic job with narrating this book! There were many voices, I enjoyed the accent, and I loved the emotions that she gave each character! This book kept me engaged and excited and I look forward to listening or reading more in this series!

yes because it was action packed and thrilling it had danger for the characters and romance what else could you ask for

I loved the ebook and I loved the audio book Krista and Ryan were great to listen to and ill be listening again

Would you listen to Craze again? Why?

Probably. I really enjoyed it once I got over the horror of her boss being a pedo. It made the story both terrifying and exhilarating.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Craze?

The barbecue at Ryan's!

Which character – as performed by Sarah Grant – was your favorite?

Sarah Grant performed all the characters very well, but I especially adored her portayal of Krista. I felt her pain and misgiving as well as her joy and relief. The suspense and horror were palpable and I felt fully immersed in the story. I truly hope she carries on with the series as I cannot imagine these characters voiced by anyone else :)

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No! It was waaay too intense :) I needed a few breaks to deal with the horror of her situation and the pure evilness of the villians! It was an amazing experience!

This series must be listened to (or read) in order. This is the first book. I can't wait to listen to Wire!


Krista has always been a little creeped by her boss Mr. Lowe... She just has no idea why. Him inviting her and her nephew Tate for a private weekend at his vacation house on the river makes her feel very odd. He didn't mention inviting Tate's parents... But that was an implied invitation right? Why would he want the two of them only? Who is the gorgeous guy who always kinda flirts with her in the park at lunch?


Working late one night to finish the reports she has due leads Krista to see something she cannot unsee. She thought she was alone in the office. All she was doing was her job. Finding her boss with a naked young boy in his office while another masked man watched and recorded as he fondled the boy made ALL the misgivings and odd feelings she had ever had about him click into place. She grabs the boy and runs straight to the cops. After the interrogation by a second officer who implicates her in the crime and calls into question the validity of her claims about "such an upstanding citizen" she realizes she has to run... And disappear... Before they make her disappear for good. Will the boy be safe? Can she get safely away? Will her family be safe? Especially Tate? How is she going to survive?


Ryan has been hired to track down and turn over Krista, the sexy classy woman he has been admiring from afar in the park for over a month. Something about the case doesn't sit well with him. Above all, some unreasonable part of him feels the need to keep her safe. What has she gotten herself into? What exactly could she have stolen that was important enough to hire a private security firm to hunt her down for? Why does this job make him feel so uneasy?


This book has many comedic moments to balance the horror and terror of the subject matter. I found it very enjoyable even though it contained elements that I would normally avoid. I can't see how this book could be done any other way :) It was truly an intense nail biter right up until the very end!


***This series is suitable for adult readers who enjoy their romantic suspense with a great deal of horror and plenty of thrills, chills, action, mystery and romance with the requisite HEA :)

I love romantic suspense stories and Craze was no exception. However, the narrator - especially with the men's voices detracted from the story. The subject, aka "the unthinkable," may be a trigger for some but, to me, it just enhanced the villainy of the villains. The almost subtle message about power and money resonated with me. Overall I enjoyed this book but I think I may have liked it more if I have read it rather than listened to it.

great story

Krista's Life changed from office accountant to a person in hiding. What she walked into and saw in her boss's office made her go on the run. Ryan worked for a security firm ended up to protect her! this story is emotional, dangerous action packed.

I couldn't finish it. I just could not handle the mispronunciation of basic words. And then the monotone....

Loved it!

The author kept you interested the entire book! All of the characters were complex and well written!!!! I can't wait to listen to another story by this aurhor.

good story but the narration was tough for me

The story concept was good, enough so that I'm looking forward to book 2. However 25% into this, I looked ahead to be sure the same narrator wasn't performing book 2 or honestly, I would have just stopped. Between the southern drawls & the whispery cheesy male voices, I kept getting frustrated & pulled out of the story. #AudiobookObsessionReviewer
