Fantastic story!

The author has a wonderful of writing a story. At the beginning I wanted to reach into the story and slap the main character to tell her to leave the bastard. I am so happy I listened to this audiobook because it had anger issues from the husband ( by the way he’s a real loser) but it also has intrigue and romance. I don’t like when people tells you what going to happen ( so I will not). It is definitely worth the price.
The narrator is one of my favorite narrator’s!! Logan does a fantastic job with the characters and voices of each character making it easy to distinguish between the characters. He brings the characters to life.

Cara because she overcame all the abuse in her past to get a new beginning and happy ending.

So many great ones. The skunk was definitely a funny one.

Great start to this series! I wish I could visit Nirvana in real life, since I can't I'll just keep visiting the books!

What a beautiful and sweet story. I really enjoyed listening to it.
Yet I found myself wanting to throttle Cara at times. She was so infuriating at times. Jumping to negative conclusions before asking what’s going on.

I’m glad that it turned out the way it did.

Solid Cowboy romance

I really liked this book. It was easygoing and relatively low angst. The MFC was a little naive but not too bad. There was a good amount of steam and a nice HEA.

Good story with good narration. A story of healing and love that starts as a great vacation and ends in love

Hard Language

The cowboy narrator was good. But the voice for Cara Sounds like a little girl's voice, it is very whiney and distracting. Rating was for storyline only.

I should have read this one first!

I read book two first. Why? I wish I knew. But I really loved this one.

Cara is a wounded woman. Her husband abused her and made her think that she was worthless. He ends up at the ranch for a vacation and meets Ben, one of the ranch hands there who does everything he can to show her that she is worth more than she thinks and they bond.

I usually hate cowboy romance, but this book and the second one have made me KINDA come around. I don't know if I would want to do one of these books by a different writer, but this series is more than worth the time to listen.

Healing for Cara

All Cara knew of love and relationships was based on an abusive relationship with her deceased husband when she applied to visit Nirvana Ranch. She was expecting a fun and relaxing time at the ranch but certainly wasn't expecting to fall for a sexy cowboy. But she must focus on healing from her past before she can trust a future with Ben.
I was rooting for Cara throughout the entire story.
Logan McAllister did an excellent job on the narration in all ways.

I need a fan.....

Whoa. That was one hot read. I could not get enough of it. I loved the characters, and the story was well written. Definitely erotica, so don't read this one at work. I can't wait to read the next in the series. If you like hot cowboys, strong women who are fighting to find themselves, and some "rip the sheets" scenes, read this book. You won't be disappointed!
