Journey to the fabled "Shangri-La"
Lucas, Ruby, Sierra, and the young girl Eva continue their journey to the fabled “Shangri-La”, a place of food, lodging and safety. Avoiding contact with “The Crew” is a constant concern as their reach and reputation seem endless. With guide Colt they head into Apache territory on the way to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Kano, a Lieutenant of The Crew, has been on Lucas’ trail for days always coming close to capture, but missing the mark by inches. Eva is the prize everyone is after. She is immune to the deadly flu and she is priceless for research into a vaccine. The scientist/doctor/researcher at Shangri-La is anxious to meet her as well. Shangri-La is all that they had hoped, but it was a fragile, temporary thing. The Crew will not rest until they have destroyed Shangri-La and have the girl in their possession. Twists and turns and a changing of the guard is coming. Set-up for book four as the introduction to book three described. The saga could have ended here, but the author had enough imagination and material for one more book. See you there.

great series of adventure and imaginary events.
This is the 3rd, but perhaps not the last book in the series. The book moves along with a modern look at the wild west with modern weapons and few morals. exciting. The performance is very good.
