Good book

Great continuation of the series as Quinn tries to cope with her new powers and outsmart the demon who wants to use her. We also get to see her relationship with her men growing in this book

okay this 💩 just got real, that was one heartbreaking ending there. I can't believe that just happen. but this series is just getting started and damn is it good. I can't wait for the next book to come out.

Oh Quinn!

As we are diving deeper into the monster’s world, and finding out what the shadow kind wants with Quinn, things continue to get more dangerous and steamy for her! This book 2 was great! Not sure if I trust everyone who she is having to work with, only time will tell!

The deeper we dive into this monster series the more I’m certain I need some monsters of my own!!

Love, love this series! The narrators are amazing and do an excellent job bringing the characters to life. I need the next book to be on audio already.

Quinn Strikes A Deal With A Demon

This book picks up where the first book left off and continues at a rapid pace. Quinn and the guys were forced to flee, but they end up in the clutches of Rollick, the demon who sent Torrent, Lance and Crag to watch her in the first place. But having chosen loyalty to Quinn over loyalty to him Quinn is forced to make a deal to ensure her and their safety.

Quinn's personality is really developing, she's not only learning what her powers mean she's forced to face the fact that she just can't walk away and go home, We still don’t know who or what is controlling the shadow kind coming after Quinn or what their end game is.

In the end, she's forced to trust Rollick but we still don't really know his plans for her, I for one am dying for answers to these and many other questions.

I have to say that the ending shocked me, although I partly understood why Quinn did what she did, being cruel to be kind but it still seemed harsh! I hope the wait for book three isn't too long!

The narration by Amber Lee Connors and Aiden Snow is excellent, I love how Amber brings out Quinn's vulnerability and her strength and how Aiden manages to bring to life all the shadow-kind creatures we meet. I especially love the vulnerability he brings to all her monstrous men.

I was given this audiobook as a gift and am voluntarily writing my review.

Good cliffhanger and surprise appearances!

While I wasn’t expecting that ending to this book at all, I love it because it just makes me excited for the next installment. I was thrilled when I recognized some characters from another series that made an appearance! I will never stop appreciating a character that is strong and doesn’t just give in, but her battle at not be selfish and her actions that she does to prove she isn’t are the complete opposite of selfish. I wasn’t sure how much “deeper” the plot could go, but thanks to the surprise appearance of the other characters the level of twists and turns can go so much deeper. I may have to start reading the next book while I wait for the audible because I need to see what happens! I’m loving this series!

Speechless

Quinn's adventures continue in this story. Threats are around every corner and I am so addicted to this series. Bring on #3.

Ugh that ending!!!

This one was both good and just ok for me. I felt like the majority of the book was just well-slow. Not much really went on till the end. The book was mainly Quinn and Rollick. I am not a fan of his at all. The ending I was really upset with like seriously. I get why but then again I’m like why? The narration was still good. Ready to see what happens in the next book.
