I re-listened to many chapters as well as followed along in my book . This is a must read for all moms .

A book for every woman/mom/wife...

Shannon Popkin is a true story teller. As she is transparent about her own life, I find that I am able to more authentically search my own heart and actions. Control is a universal and timeless language for woman, and this book clarifies how it manifests in my own life. Shannon carefully and lovingly illustrates how we can turn control over to God and confidently trust him with every aspect of life. This book speaks much about marriage and parenting.

Loved it!

I love the way she told the stories and applied Gods word. It was very convicting and uplifting at the same time. Now that I’ve heard it I am going through the book so that I can read all the scriptures and so the meditations and journaling. I highly recommend this book! Shannons voice makes it easy to listen to as well. Great job!

REALITY CHECK for someone who is losing it

I was having a hard time with control or shall I say a moment in life where I had no control and lost control of the woman I worked so hard to become. I knew I had to do something and clear my mind and why searching for a good read, I stumbled upon this audiobook and read the summary and thought " everyone always say read about the women and this Bible," so I figured this was exactly what I needed and boy was it. I found control again and I actually purchased the paperback book so I can go back and mark it up. This book definitely help me understand who truly have control over my life and to stop thinking I have to fix everything. This has helped me in my dating situation, my work situation, and just my spirit and energy and so much more at peace. I love how this book is not that "HOLIER THAN THOU" book but a reality and helpful guide from the stories of the women in the Bible. TRUST ME, this will be a book I will gift to all my friends. an eye opener

brought some things to light that are worth pondering. never realized some of the situations mentioned were control driven. makes me think twice of how to approach or respond to a situation. trust in God! thank you for writing this book!

Convicting and Engaging

Any Jesus Girl can relate to some aspect of seeking control in their life. I was spellbound by stories I already knew from scripture, but told in a fresh new way with personal connection. This book was truly God inspired.
