The emotional and touching conclusion to the Baxter family series!

The Baxters make plans to come together for a summer lakeside reunion, a celebration like they haven’t had in years. But before the big day, the unthinkable happens. As the Baxter family rallies together, memories come to light in the grief-stricken hours of waiting and praying, memories that bring healing and hope during a time when otherwise darkness might have the final word.

In a season that changes all of them, the brilliance of family love overshadows even the valley of heartache as the Baxters draw closer to God and each other. Along the way, secrets are revealed, and the truth about the family’s history is finally made known. Ultimately, in this portrait of family love, the Baxters cling to each other and to God’s promise of forever.

From #1 NYT bestseller Karen Kingsbury comes a story of faith and a forever kind of love that will stay with you long after the ending.

  • Concludes the original Baxters series from New York Times bestselling author Karen Kingsbury that begins with Redemption, Remember, Return, and Rejoice, now streaming on Amazon Prime

I'm still reading it... I absolutely LOVE this entire series but I'm seeing alot of inconsistencies when talking about the past, about each person's story and the shared histories. I wonder why it's not the same as what was in the books mainly about that character. 🤔
These books are so inspirational!! I wish my family was like this. I am praying to be a mother like the Baxter women are, thru Jesus Christ. 🙏

What a wonderful reminder of God’s unfailing faithfulness! This story is a tough one to listen to and I was in tears for 90% of it.... the reality is there are many people in this world who suffer losses similar to those experienced in this story. Karen once again wrote an emotional story with a powerful punch— our God is bigger and better than any bad thing that happens here on this Earth. And He alone will see you through those times. Always.

Gut wrenching but beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness

As always, Karen Kingsbury's stories of the Baxters amaze me! I laugh, I cry, and I think about my faith ( how I fall so short and am so undeserving of Christ's love and grace)!
Karen's stories come alive and I have a hard time putting them down and never wanting them to end! I am always humbled and inspired when I read one😊.
Thank you, Karen, for sharing your talent so that others can receive a hope and feel the Love of our precious savior through your stories😍😊❗️

A much better read than listen. For some reason the audio version came across as somewhat sappy; I think it would be much better reading. A great story— especially if you’ve followed the Baxter’s.

Excellent story!

Well done, as always. Karen Kingsbury writes about tragedy with comfort and care but also gives great perspective through the lens of multiple characters.

Love this continuation of the Baxter family

Would you listen to Coming Home again? Why?

No, it wasn't very pleasant havingt to lister to the highlights of the previous 5 books in the series and didn't like reading about death and how every one coped. Wasn't what I expected.

What was most disappointing about Karen Kingsbury’s story?

Recapping of 5 previous books in the series. 3/4 of the book was about the previous books and what happened in them.

What about Gabrielle de Cuir and Stefan Rudnicki ’s performance did you like?

They read very well and with feeling

Death and recap of previous book in series

Would you listen to Coming Home again? Why?

I really enjoyed the narration of this book incuding the changing voices.

What did you like best about this story?

This book sort of reviews some books I read of Kingsbury's in the past. That was a little slow but there is new action as well that's very intriguing. It was hard to stop listening. Her books are always full of hope and the idea of endless support by family and God.

Have you listened to any of Gabrielle de Cuir and Stefan Rudnicki ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No.

Very Spiritual

Would you listen to Coming Home again? Why?

Yes, because I just adore everything Kingsbury! I've listen to all her books that I have at least 3-4 times each.

Have you listened to any of Gabrielle de Cuir and Stefan Rudnicki ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes...the Take One - Four books. They make it easy to listen. I think when the reader changes it's nicer when there is enough readers for each main charactre, or whoever the particular part of the book is referring to in the moment.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes but to mention would be a spoiler. Through tragedy it seems the family is stronger and learns to lean and trust more.

Any additional comments?

It seems to me that Karen leaves herself open for another Baxter series in the future even though this was suppose to be a review of the past and an end to the Baxter Saga.

Nice review.....is it over? really?
