Great Story, Very Good Performance
I've loved this book for years, and Jim Weiss does it justice. I was a bit reluctant to listen, since I was afraid a lackluster would tick me off; but this reader was exciting to listen to. The only possible gripe I had was his pronunciation of one word, but then I'm very picky. Mr. Weiss, unlike most readers of horse stories, gives me the impression that he actually knows what he's reading about and finds it as thrilling as I do!

Seabiscuit! You are amazing!
Thoroughly enjoyed the reading of this book. The narrator neither overplayed or understated the many ups and downs of an amazing story. Thanks for the great entertaining story.

Wonderful piece of Americana!!
Seabiscuit is my favorite movie. I realized from Moody's narrative that the screenplay was adapted mostly from Ralph Moody's book. It was excellent that there were beautiful details contained in the book that are absent in the movie.
