Dear nutty neighbor: As a lawyer, I must clarify that I never made an offer. It was a suggestion regarding the possibility of a non-permanent, no-strings-attached arrangement between two consenting adults whose beds are separated by a wall.

As a man who shares your disdain for messy feelings, I applaud your confidence in your ability to not fall for me. Hold on to that. I’d also like to make it clear that I don’t care if you want to get over your crush on your boss or if you still hope he’ll realize you’re the woman of his dreams. That said, I definitely wasn’t thinking about my ex-girlfriend when I kissed you in the laundry room, and I’m quite sure you weren’t thinking about your boss.

As a dog daddy, I'm glad you're so taken with my girl. But if you try to steal her I will get all Liam Neeson up in your pretty face.

As a busy New Yorker, I think clear boundaries are hot. I have one hour free to blow your mind tonight. So turn off Netflix, put down that glass of wine, and let’s do this.

One of the best for 2019!

This is in my top 10 for books I’ve read/listened to for 2019 and would definitely listen to it again. When Matt temporarily moves into his Aunt’s upper west side condo, he gets off to a rocky start with his new neighbor, Bernadette. He’s a corporate lawyer with a good deal of stoicism. Bernadette is a painter who’s working as an executive assistant for a financially successful artist. Her goal is to eventually get back to painting. They start out as friends with benefits and turn into so much more. They seemingly have little in common, but their chemistry is amazing and they make each other so happy. The ending made me smile. Excellent narration too!

When you Know, you Know

Come back to Bed is a delightful and oh so sweet RomCom full of self discovery and is a testimony of listening to your heart. A slow burn, Bernadette and Matt are a hoot!! The author takes great care in writing a engaging story that has all the elements of falling in forever love. Teddy Hamilton as usual is outstanding.

casual affair that turns into more

sexy lawyer Matt moves next door to nerdy artist who talks to much and laughs at awkward moments . they decide to have a casual affair that moves to boyfriend girlfriend material. Now for some reason they seem to not be able to communicate and feelings get hurt.

Great Audio and Story!

The story of Matt and Bernadette was a great opposites attract. I’m not usually a huge fan of the art scene in books but this was so well done! I loved the love that both characters had for sweet Daisy the dog. I feel like this book had just the right amount of build up, conflict and romance! And there were so many hilariously funny parts!! Bernadette’s parents were hilarious!!!

I listened to this book on audible and the adults was amazing! The narrators did an amazing job with the narration!!

Sooo enjoyable

This one was surprisingly enjoyable. I loved the characters and found myself giggling constantly. LOVED the banter between the main characters. And the narration was great. I could listen to Teddy Hamilton all day long.

Fantastic RomCom!

This is the first of Kayley Loring's books that I have had the pleasure to listen to and it was by far the perfect one to start with! I am always a sucker for a good RomCom to help me escape the stresses of life and this one quickly became a favorite for me! The characters were quirky, unique, and had a level of sarcasm that will keep you laughing for days after finishing!

The narration was amazing! Mackenzie was new to me going into this book but has now become one of my favorite female narrators! Her and Teddy Hamilton made a fantastic team!

These narrators where meant for this Story

I absolutely loved this enemies to lovers with a dash of reluctant falling for one another. This book held a perfect balance of hilarious banter and steamy scenes.

New to me author I will definetly be looking more from, this story kept me laughing and rooting for the HEA, I feel like part of the secret to keeping me in this enthrallement was the auntie and parents who's appearances brought new insights to our characters.

the quirky Bernadette is an awesome character! loved how I could totally relate to her. many laugh out loud moments in this book! both narrators do an excellent job. I loved how "Matt's" voice wraps around you.

The writing is on the wall!

Come Back To Bed is a laugh out loud, not to be missed audio book! Make sure if you are listening at work, to remember that you were warned! Matthew, along with his adorable dog Daisy, has sublet his aunts apartment because he and his long term girlfriend broke up. Bernadette is a struggling artist working as personal assistant to a famous author who she has a massive crush on. Bernadette is Matt's aunts neighbor and is taking care of his aunt's flowers while she's in Europe.The aunt sends her an email letting her know that her nephew will be staying at her place while she's away. When they first meet, it's outside, and she doesn't even notice Matt at first, because she spies Daisy, drops to her knees,and instantly falls in love! (with Daisy) When she finally looks up, she sees the dogs owner, and wow is he good looking!. He remains stone faced, and isn't friendly at all. Bernadette goes back to her apartment, and puts them out of her mind excited because she has a package with a dress she ordered . As she tries it on, and before she can get it off, her buzzer goes off, and it's her new temporary neighbor wanting to collect the key to his aunt's apartment. It's the hot man from the street with the adorable dog.! With the hot dress on and no time to chance, she shows him upstairs, he follows, and she's self conscious, and stumbles as she's going up. He catches her. She quickly shows him around, gives Daisy some love, and leaves, only to be back in minutes, embarrassed to have to ask Mr. Grump to unzip her, because the zipper is stuck. There are many layers to this story. They slowly be come friends, that friendship slowly morphs into more, but they each impose restrictions. I thoroughly enjoyed this audio book! The back and forth between Matt and Bernadette was fun. The story is fun and engaging, and the narration was superb! I had listened to Teddy Hamilton before and always enjoyed him, but this was my first time listening to Mackenzie Cartwright, and I love her! I was happy to review this for AudioBook Obsession Review Group
