The narrator ruins it

This series isn’t perfect by any means but it is fun to read so naturally I thought I’d enjoy the audiobooks as well. Up till this point it was ok but I’m not even going to finish this because the person they cast as the narrator is just so terrible. Just takes you right out of the story. If I could give 0 stars for performance, I would have.

Loved the Story

I read this series about 10 years ago and was so excited to see the books now on audible! I’ve enjoyed each and every book even more than I remembered. However, I have to say it took me a little bit to adjust to Dex’s narration in this title. I was definitely expecting a sexier voice..

Love the book, not the voice I would have picked

No offense to the voice actor, he doesn’t have a bad voice in general, but it isn’t Dex. Dex is supposed to have a deep voice and the actor has a higher pitched voice. Kind of took me out of the story, but I had to get through it anyways. Still love the book ❤️

great storyline not so great narrator

I love this series. The narrator of the Other books has made me love it even more. it was disappointing for a new narrator this book. It sounded like he was trying to hard and took me a while to get through it.

Not bad, but not good

ETI is my favorite series. I've been waiting for this book to be on Audible for a while. I was really hoping Scott, Karina's husband, would have been the narrator. I loved it when he did the Dex Files. Shoot, even Jo would have been great! This narrator sounded like an automated machine. He really sounded like a robot. All of Dex was completely lost with this narration. And the way he made Perry sound was comical, but not in a funny way. Love this book though! It really is one of my favorites in the series.
