Exciting warriors

The admiral falls for Luna at first sight. She was engaged to his nephew. When that engagement fell apart he came up with a plan to take Luna as his own Bride. The two of them go to the Drexorian Academy and are pulled into a miasma of intrigue and danger.

Pretty good

This was an interesting storyline; however, not unique. The narrators did a great job bringing the characters to life. Some of the banter between characters was fun and some irritating. Will listen to the next book in series.

Another swoony and exciting Drexian love match

Oh I loved Zoran and Noora’s forced proximity, arranged marriage, enemies to lovers, alien-human romance with a side of botched assassination. It was a fantastic balance of steamy, heartwarming, and suspenseful. Zoran and Noora are both a little rough around the edges and a little wounded by their pasts and in need of all consuming love to heal. Zoran is an admiral and second in command of the Drexian Academy. Noora is a human who was selected as a voluntary tribute bride for Talven, Zoltan’s nephew. After that match falls through (Flame), Zoran claims Noora as his mate and takes her immediately to the Drexian Academy. There is instant attraction and chemistry but neither of them acts on it at first because of the scars from their past relationships. Zoran and Noora’s journey to the HEA is accelerated when danger and intrigue is added to the mix. The story was well written and included witty dialogue, three dimensional characters who grow, and an engaging storyline with sweet moments, steamy scenes, dangerous situations, alien physiology and cultures, loyal friends, fated mates, coincidences, plot twists, painful pasts, mystery, and laughs. I love this series and am excited for the start of the spin off series.

Aubrey Vincent, Conner Goff, and Jodie Bentley did a phenomenal job narrating the stories and characters into life with enough change of inflection, tone and cadence to voice multiple characters quite convincingly. This book was great to read as an ebook but the narration brings the story to a whole new level.

Loved the story!

Combust is book six in the Inferno Force series and an excellent entry in the Drexian warriors world of feisty human tribute brides who meet their match’s in the alpha alien males.
The audio edition exceeded my expectations with the wonderful narration by artists who seamlessly brought the characters and story to fruition and made the listening experience a very pleasurable one indeed!

Combust is the sixth book in the Inferno Force of Drexian Warriors series. Even though this is a standalone sci-fi romance, we see Noora again and was the Drexian tribute bride to Admiral Zoran’s nephew. When she rejects this match and her sister takes her place, Noora thinks she is free from the bride program. I absolutely loved this one. The suspense, action and the sexual tension and chemistry between Noora and Zoran was perfect, like fire.
The narrators did a fantastic job and their voices were perfect for their characters. I absolutely enjoyed that each narrators’ did their own dialogue and not try to do the voice of the opposite sex. Because it was conversation like the story flowed and was exciting. I highly recommend this book and series. I can't wait to read/listen to the spin-off series.

Very exciting edition to the series,

The Drexians, especially the I ferno Force, never fail to bring the heat. I liked that this story picked right up from the last book and takes us off the ships to the Drexian homework for even more drama, intrigue, and adventure. The battle with the Kronok continues and now a peek into the Drexian training facility. The narrators did a great job bringing this story to life.

I love all of this series on the Drexians. This series of Novellas as well as past series of the Drexian storyline has never disappointed. Tana Stone does a wonderful job at telling romance and I do not believe any would be disappointed. Bring us more Drexians.

The narrators did an amazing job with this book! They really brought it to life and I enjoyed their duel narration.

Tana Stone has done it again! This time our Drexian warrior is a silver fox and we get to go to the Drexian home world. While Combust is a great book all on its own, it is also a great transition from the current series to the new one. It sets us up for the new series wonderfully and I can’t wait to see what Tana Stone has in store for us.

Overall good listen

My main comment is regarding the male narrator pronouncing the females name as Nuera instead of Nora like the other narrators. Very odd and distracting. Otherwise good and easy listen.
