Absolutely riveting

Ray Porter is far and away the best narrator out there right now. And this story is INCREDIBLE. I could see it optioned for a show (it plays as anime in my head- ha!). The story evolves in such a way it keeps your attention while giving spine chilling reference to lovecraftian horror. Highly recommend.

Action packed science fiction

And this shows that Jonathan Maberry is a writer that also handles science fiction like a master. I cannot praise Jonathan Maberry enough as a writer. He is a true gem, buy everything he has published. Best regards from a huge fan in Norway.

Thrilling from start to finish

I really enjoyed the narration from from Ray Porter and this book is fast paced with a great story and characters .

A sequel that surpasses the original

At the end of the first book (_NecroTek_), I didn’t really see a path forward for the narrative. However, this author continues to amaze me in the way that he can create a seemingly unconnected story and integrate it with the existing plot line to produce a coherent and satisfying tale. I don’t want to give too much away, but if you liked the first book, you should really like the second.

Disappointed. Female Joe Ledger, but with lesbian sex and no charm.

Story was okay but not very captivating. I could have stopped listening at any point. I'm also done with Mayberry's interweiving of same sex relationships into his stories. I dont listen to this genre for the sexual content. Joe's relationships are dealt with in tenderness even though he's a tough guy. I dont care to know that Joe 'went down on his partner.' It is not why I enjoy the stories. However, the same relationships are woven throughout the story and concentrate on the sexual relationship. Why does the female heroine need her 'masculine persona' heightened by a same sex relationship? Why does she speak like a man? What woman would say, "I'd give my balls for...." Two recent novels had perpetuated this theme. I wont bother to listen to a third if it continues.
