loved the authors imagination
i loved that the author has such a great imagination! roosters that can read. were chickens! loved it!!!I received this book for free for a honest review. I loved the characters and storyline. it flowed very well and held together. The narrator did an excellent job of bringing the characters to life. reccomend

A corny Halloween tale for chicken fans
I’ve got a cousin who raises chickens and one of my wife’s friends raised chickens so I couldn’t resist picking up this gem. So why four not five stars across the board? I’ve listened to just too many that I can give five stars that are on a level above this book (in my opinion) that brings said it’s a really cute and entertainingly spooky tale that my chicken raising friends would have probably given it all fives. Hey it enjoy it over the Halloween season. great for all ages. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator or publisher

A Cute funny Halloween story
Not scary but funny. I like it! It’s funny and cute. If I have kids, I would definitely read this with them. My favorite character is the rooster. He is so adorable!!! Such a wise and smart rooster, that one. 😍 like the narrator. This is the second book in the series. I received a free code from audiobooks unleashed. This is my honest opinion for the review.

Scary Shenanigans in the Hen House
After listening to book one in the series and knowing more of what to expect, I was anxious to continue the tales of Reginald the Rooster, a suave and educated resident of a family farm. While book one set the stage for Reginald, I feel like book two was able to show more of Reginald's personality and his interactions with the other animals. It is the chickens first Halloween and they don't quite know what to expect. Then some scary things happen and the farmyard is on edge until the mystery is unraveled.
The narrator does very well with the narration of Reginald and all the other animals. Fun listen!

Cute Kids Halloween Tale
I played this book for my kids and they thought it was hysterical with the different voices by Lawrence Locke. I too enjoyed the story because it had a little moral that was snuck in. I only have one critical thing that I did not appreciate the mention of a Pocahontas costume for Halloween. I hate to be preachy but my heritage is not a costume.
